Dr. Scott Douglas Isaacs, MD

Doctors office staff would not follow through with insurance company to insure prior authorizations were received by the insurance company. Their attitude was bad and they reply by saying, change doctors if you don't like it. Plus, they become demanding telling what the patient must do without listening and answering questions. Very rude office environment.

Dr. Isaacs take the time to listen, to every question there is an answer that makes sense to the way I feel and also he gives a solution. He is the only doctor that I visit that I know for sure addresses all my health needs. In every appointment I learn more and I understand more about my thyroid issues.

I have been going to Dr. Isaacs for a few years now. He has always listened and given advice. He has also never judged - especially when it came to obesity. He did all he could to assist me. His knowledge of diabetes and obesity and very extensive. I trust his judgment treating me completely. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Isaacs and his wonderful, friendly staff..

Dr Isaacs wrote me out a prescription before even getting a copy of my blood work. How could he possibly know what I needed without waiting for a blood report on my thyroid condition. Obviously, he is out for money and kickbacks. 10 mins of his time was $250 and he does not accept insurance of any kind. Don't bother going.

I was referred to Dr. Isaacs by my PCP for weight loss. I only met with Dr. Isaacs about three times. Each time I met with him I left feeling as if he did not care about my health. I did not meet his patient demographics so our interactions were short, cold, and impersonal. He came across as dismissive, arrogant, and very condescending. He didn't take time to understand my family dynamics before prescribing me with a weight loss medication that I couldn't afford and, therefore, wouldn't be able to maintain compliance in order to lose weight. I didn't feel as if there was a genuine concern from Dr. Isaacs about getting me to a healthy weight. I've had some wonderful experiences with other physicians and medical professionals in metro Atlanta. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them.

Only focus is on weight loss medications, not personable at all. Expensive hidden cost for cancelled appts when treatment is not needed

Dr. Isaacs is a phenomenal doctor, however his staff and employees are rude and unwelcoming. Do not go there

I have seen Dr. Isaacs several times now for my thyroid. He has been patient and understanding and willing to try different treatments. Each time, he follows up with thyroid levels which are finally in the normal range. I am very happy with the way he has been open to trying different treatments instead of just looking at numbers. I think we have finally found the right medication.

After being referred to him by my OBGYN, I have been seeing Dr. Isaac's for over 2 years now for Hypothyroidism and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Dr. Isaacs listens to your concerns, spends as much time with you as needed and genuinely wants to get to the bottom of the problem. He is very prompt in getting lab results back to you and is always available by email or phone for any questions or concerns. When trying to figure out which medication was the best he tried a medication, ran labs, reevaluated until I was feeling good and my levels were normal. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Isaacs!

I liked him as a doctor but I had multiple issues and didn't really have the answers I was looking for. Still a very good dr I still haven't found the answers I'm looking for. I may make another appointment to try again.
