Dr. McGovern took his time explaining step by step what he was going to do to help my sprain of thoracic spine.. First visit as I have not had back issues before. Return appointment in 2 weeks. Entire Millsboro, Delaware office was very friendly & organized.

I was in excruciating pain caused by pinched nerves and disc issues. Dr. McGovern performed complicated neck surgery, and I’m delighted to say I’ve had no pain since. Dr . McGovern is a highly trained competent surgeon, whose surgical skills are second to none. Additionally, he is empathetic, considerate and caring with his patients, and always has time to listen. I needed a replacement of my old Medtronics stimulator which is over eight years old. My pain Doctor referred me to Dr. Scott McGovern. The Medtronics rep met me & my husband & spoke with Dr. McGovern. He explained how he would do the procedure, the side effects, & said he would print out a surgery form for me sign. His nurse came in with paperwork,explained it & I signed it . She said that someone would call me to set up a date & time. POA is very organized. We are very pleased with the Doctors we have both seen.

I asked a few people for a back surgeon and I heard great things about this doctor who had did their surgery and decided to get an appointment he was very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong and what the surgery would do for me so I put my trust in him

Dr. McGovern was fantastic, explaining everything so I could make the best decision for me. I have recommended him for back surgery to anyone that will listen, he is that great

Just loved Dr. McGovern. Would recommend highly. We moved to Florida, wish I could take him with me. Hopefully I can find one just like him here!
