Dr. Scott Edward Gelman, MD

Dr Gelman has told me for three years and since my total replacement left hip surgery I will most likely need a replacement on my right. I came back for two checkups and this year it is time. I love it when he says, “ you have two directions to go keep living with that pain, or have the right one replaced. Emily it’s about quality by of life not living with this genetic issue until you fall. Falling is much worse. I trust him and that’s when we booked the appointment to have him repair it.

I saw Dr Gelman for bursitis pain in both right and left hips. He listened to my description of the pain and recommended a treatment. Wonderful communication skills. Instilling confidence in his expertise. I will follow up with him in the coming months for the other hip if needed. He sent my primary doctor a letter with an update the same day of my appointment. Dr Gelman is a caring professional.

My husband received such great care by Dr Scott Gelman. From our first consult to his surgery & post op. Wonderful experience. Dr. Gelman had so much patience with my husband.

I was very pleased had no problem walking better then ever. care was great knee was hurt so bad could hardly walk very well please

X-rays were taken of my knee and reviewed with me but no treatment options were provided. Other than 800 mgs of ibuprofen every 8 hours but that has not helped.

De. Gelman took unnecessary xrays and did not review them with me. Said there was nothing he could do and said go to a spine dr. and rehab. He would 't even refer me to other spine dr. and rehab in his own professional group. Avoid him for hip pain. He would not diagnose my problem. NEXT?
