this guy is top notch. zero Doctor arrogance very personable and relaxed. if a health problem arises, he gives it to you in plain english and at the same time presents solutions, treatments and ideas....if I could give ten stars I would!!!!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Negri for over 13 years. He and his qualified staff are amazing, caring, kind, and knowledgable. Both my husband and I trust him for all our medical needs and know that anything beyond his scope is referred to a reputable Dr. for followup. Wouldn't trade Dr. Negri for anything!

During the 43 years I have lived in San Luis Obispo, I have had at least a half-dozen doctors. I consider Dr. Negri to be the best of them all. I trust his diagnoses, and I appreciate his unhurried, kindly manner.

I've been going to Dr. Negri for a long time. Ten years ago, he was reviewing my blood work and noted an increase in my PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen), Although it was less than the important lever of 4, he noted a trend up and additional blood tests and ultimately referred me to an excellent Urologist for a biopsy. His alertness to my Prostate Cancer allowed me to have surgery in the early stages of my cancer. With the removal of the Prostate (and the cancer that was still encapsulated in the Prostate), I did not need radiation or chemo therapy and have been cancer free for 9 years and 7 months. Since I was symptom free prior to Dr. Negri's alert medical evaluation, it is possible that he cancer could have grown and spread. I believe Dr. Negri probably ultimately saved me a great deal of pain and suffering and probably ultimately my life.

Nice man and good Doctor. I have been a patient for 5 years and it has always been a good experience.

I have moved out of the area and really miss Dr. Negri as my doctor. He was always friendly and took time to talk to you about your problems. I would love to have him back as my doctor.

I thought I would post a follow up review for der.negri. I began seeing dr.negri in 2007. As my previous review says, he is very understanding and seems really concerned about my well being. My last routine visit was great. He told me how pleased he was with where we were at with my medication and that I was doing a great job. He said he would see me in 3 months for my normal assessment. Great visit as always, which is why I was stunned when a month letter I got said I was being terminated as a patient after 6 years. Doctors are not required to give a reason for termination and none was given. I honestly thought it was a mistake, we left a message hoping he would call us back, no call. I also tried to make a appoint and was told there were no opening for over 30 days, he is only required to see me up to 30 days after my termination. The only thing I could think of is the fact in my back condition worsened I would have to see a pain management dr. I did request a additional 30 of the… medication I use. It was still well below what I had been previously perscribed in the past. In addition we made sure the medical assistant would pass along that the rx was not for my back but for a shoulder injury he wrote me a note for on my last visit. I ended up being cut off my meds cold turkey which was absolutely horrible because I could get in to see a pain management dr in time. I still stand by my first review. He was a great dr and gave me my life back, which is why losing him is so hard. I also thought that after 6+ years i would have rated a face to face. To those who still get to see dr negri , I am truly jealous.

Truly rude women in that office, not sure why any of them chose the helping field because they are not at all helpful. I dread having to make the appointment, not because of Dr. Negri who is fine, but because I am always treated like an annoyance and a number by the front office people. Don't even think about asking a question, how dare you! The manager is the worst of all of them, a poison dart kind of cranky older woman.

Dr Negri treats not only me, but my sisters and my mother as well. He is courteous, attentive, helpful, and he actually listens to what you tell him about your conditions and symptoms. I highly recommend him.
