I was under treatment by Dr Slavis and highly recommend him..

I have been a patient for several years after my original urologist retired due to health issues. Have had several cystos and now am looking at possible surgery for BPH. Dr. Slavis is very thorough in his exams...takes his time and explains everything to me. In fact he always offers to allow me to see the screen while he works on my bladder. I have complete confidence and trust in Dr. Slavis. I jokingly tell friends Dr. Slavis has great hands...having a cysto with no pain or pressure at all is not something I was use to. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL

The first visit was not bad, my second visit was a train wreck,. He talked over me and contradicted himself. He accused me of not having pain, after 30 years of having kidney stones. I never asked for pain relief from him and he never offered although I was in a lot of pain and my ankles and face were extremely swollen. He tried to push it off as a UTI. I know the difference as well as I do know that they go hand in hand.

The most knowledgeable doc I found in this field. I have been using him since 2004. Because of him, I am cancer free for 6 years.

This doctor seems to know what he is doing. He seems pretty accurate and tries to help you the best he can. He is not that warm at first but does care. I liked the fact that I received follow up letters from him. His follow-up letters demonstrate to me great concern and I would definitely go back and see him. Also, if you don't have insurance they are expensive during the first consultation, but after the first visit they are pretty reasonable.

The best choice I made was deciding to see Dr. Slavis. He is compassionate and caring about his patients, and demands as much from his staff and hospital staff as he does himself. I've never been treated better by any physician, and Dr. Slavis is proof that despite an overall negative view by others, our medical community has some incredibly talented physicians, of which he is certainly one.
