Dr. Waldo C Feng, MD

Dr Feng performed my sons hypospadias repair at Sunrise Hospital in 2004. We were really pleased with results and the care he provided for my son. He also performed a second operation in 2006 for the same thing. He did a very good job.

Dr Feng was wonderful with my son. I highly recommend Dr Feng.

The high star review is for the exceptional medical care provided by the physician/specialist. Dr. Waldo Feng was highly recommended so we made an appointment. He is knowledgable with great bed side manners, very professional, listens and addresses our concerns and communicates information regarding problem and procedures well. We highly recommend Dr. Feng for his professionalism and expertise. The nursing staff was professional and courteous, too. However, his front staff needs orientation in customer relations. WE had to call at least half a dozen times to make an initial appointment because the receptionist insists we see a different doctor in the office. She said unless we had previous clinic visit, the clinic assigns new patients to new doctors. What??? I reminded the front staff that it is patient's rights to be seen by their chosen professional healthcare provider. (So why is the ad that Dr. Feng accepts new patients?) Finally after several days calling and requesting… to see Dr. Feng, we got an appointment. We came early to finish completing all paperwork and copay early for a 9:15am appointment. There were no other patients except us in the office at that time. So, we expected to be seen in a timely manner. Then, we waited... At 9:40am, after the staff started calling other patients who came after we came, I asked the front staff what's happening? We had a 9:15am appointment. We asked the nurse who said they were wondering what happened to us because the front staff just informed them inside about us at 9:45am. All we needed was an update from the front staff why the long wait. We would understand if there was a meeting, an emergency, ongoing procedure, short staff, physician late, or any other reason even a staff breakfast conference. It is important for open communication between patients/family and clinic. We have private insurance. If we didn't believe in Dr. Feng, we would have gone to another clinic. The front staff really gave us a negative healthcare experience. Today, excellent healthcare satisfaction starts from patient encounter with frontline staff to supporting staff, anxilliary staff, nursing staff and physicians. Hope you have a better healthcare experience.

I could not be more grateful for Dr. Feng! He operated on my 12 month old daughter and not only did he do a fantastic job, he made sure I felt at ease during the procedure. He is confident in his work and it shows. He is genuine and will take the time to address your concerns. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!

When I first started seeing dr.feng I had no idea what was wrong with me all I knew was I was having serious pains on my side. He was very eager and concerned about me and my health he acted as if my body was his. He kept on making appointments for me and doing whatever he could to find out my problem because I was in so much pain and I was only 15! After he found out what was wrong with me from all the test he immediately set me up for an appointment to have surgery.i was scared because it was my firstsurgery but I was also relieved because the doctors in the er kept on telling me it was my gall bladder and all they did was put me on a strict diet and give me medication and it didn't do anything for me,so I was happy to hear that doctor feng was going to fix me up.so I guess my kidney was not draining on one side and it was way oversized then my other kidney was working way overtime to make up for my other kidney.he did a major robotic surgery onme I'm not sure what it's called it's a… big word.lol but he made it so my scars were very tiny and now you can't even notice them and he also told me what to put on the scars because he doesn't like any of his patients to have scars.he's just an amazing doctor!
