Dr. Shawn Patrick Mcmanus, DO

Dr. Shawn is super knowledgeable on several fronts of health, he is very pro-active and has a preventative mindset which I really like and appreciate.

I am leary of most Drs. However, this DR not only listens to my concerns, he makes sure I understand the whys of what needs done. He draws diagrams or what ever it takes for me to feel comfortable with what is going on and so i understand completely his recommendations.

I have been seen by Mcmannus three times. Each time my prescriptions have been the wrong medicine. Not something I was prescribed or not called into my pharmacy. EVERYTIME!! Wrote a different date on my appointment card than what they put in their system. And the staff sat next to a ringing phone while I watched them in the waiting room while trying to resolve my issues with getting my prescriptions sorted out. And they did not send my medical waiver to the dmv causing me to have to go to court to fight a ticket and to get my license reinstated. The worst dr office I've ever experienced. And I'm a life long diabetic so I've been to a few.

I have a complicated medical history and having been trying to find a physician who could manage it with me. I found that physcian in Dr McManus. Before I left the room we had a plan for every thing ! His office staff called me the next day with my results. I found the needle in the hay stack

I would not recommend Dr. McManus. I went in for an initial physical exam. After going through a lengthy list of questions, he listened to my heart and lungs. The nurse did everything else. He did not even bother to follow up, just had one of the office staff phone me with some things he wanted me to do. When I asked what one of the medications was for that he suggested, she responded with "I don't know". I made an appointment to follow up with him in person, but when I got to his office I was told he was not seeing patients that day because the computer was down.

dr. mcmanus is the best at diagnosing. i highly recommend him.

We love Dr McManus. He is wonderful to work with and very personable, as well as competent.

He's been more valuable than almost all of the specialists I've seen. And that includes his lack of a God complex.

I would wait and will wait an hour + if nessecary to this Dr ! He did more for me in one visit than my previous doctor did in 4 years ! I hesitated rating Dr Mcmanus because I don't want you to go him so he doesn't get any busier :)

Saved my life! what more can I say
