Dr. Drapkin is a very good Allergist. Very spoken and polite.. Has shown interest in me as a patient when I spoke. Listens well and has no problem or hesitation answering questions..He explains very well what the patient needs to hear and know.. Wonderful doctor.. He made me feel confident in his care with my Allergies...I'd clone him if I could..

I called and left the message for the nurse, it has been a few days and don't hear from them.

I give Dr. Drapkin five stars (clearly intelligent and caring) but the office 2 stars. Be aware it is the office practice to assign random topics to the doctors to write monthly posts on the website. These topics are not always that doctor's area of expertise. We have a rare genetic condition mentioned in one of the posts and assumed that doctor had knowledge in treating BECAUSE his post mentioned our specific genetic condition and problem. We had the appointment and was referred to another specialist with which we already have an upcoming appointment. This cost us $180 all because of a post which led me to believe this was a problem this practice had knowledge or interest in treating. I appreciate the doctor's candor but I still had to pay $180 to find out this is beyond the scope of their practice. Additionally, The office requires up front payment for high deductible plans. I would have had to seek a refund for overpayment if I had paid the amount up front they wanted. … The staff was VERY aggressive trying to collect upfront.

I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR. DRAPKIN AT HIS HOWARD LOCATION FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME I WALKED INTO HIS OFFICE; I KNEW I HAD MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE (BY THE WAY, HE ALSO GREETS HIS PATIENTS AT THE DOOR; IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED THAT FROM ANY OTHER DOCTOR.) HE WAS ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT MY PRIMARY DOCTOR COULD NOT. HE'S THE BEST!
