Birth of premature twins

Over 17yrs ago my wife was pregnant with twins. They weren't due for nearly two months when she had a placental abruption on a Friday afternoon and was rushed by emergency ambulance from midtown Manhattan to NY-Cornell Hospital on the East River. The senior obstetrician who had been overseeing the pregnancy was out of town and it was a bit disconcerting to see a junior associate step in. It was a very youthful looking Dr. Nelson and she delivered boy-girl twins emergency C-section to pediatric ICU where they bulked up before heading off to 17 very healthy years, thank you very much!

Dr.Sonja Nelson is an excellent Doctor! She is a 10 on a scale from one to ten! I feel very lucky to be one of her patients. I have been seeing her now for about 4yrs. She is kind,caring and very professional.I think of her as my friend as well as my Doctor.I would recommend her at any woman looking for an OB/GYN.
