Dr. Stanford Dale Gittlen, MD

Dr. Gittlen & Vicky took care of me today, on my first visit, like I’ve never experienced in my life. They’re both brilliant, worked together like a well oiled machine and I’m so fortunate to have found them. Everyone and everything at the office was top notch.

I heard at the hospital as I was a patient He is a very busy doctor. The Nurses were all commending how great a doctor he was and in demand. He has an extremely large work load and many responsibilities so I knew not to expect a long visit. He was right to the point and I expect him to care for my medical issue and not be my bedside companion. Some times people have to just understand having agood in demand doctor to wait a little because hes probably saving a life in the Emergency room. Next time it may be you.

As other reviews have said, Dr. Gittlen seems to feel that he is above his patients. Does not have good bedside manners. I felt no compassion from him. Very cold., I used to go to him but I am looking for a new doctor. His office staff is wonderful but that is the only thing that I find satisfied with.

I had a 11:15 am Appointment. Its now 1:20pm. I understand drs run behind but this is just obsurd. This is almost everytime we come here. If u were smart dont come here. Its a waste of time!!

Dr. Gittlen never called back with the results of my chest x-ray. I had to get the nurse to ask another doctor to interpret the results. Dr. Gittlen was dismissive of my concerns and not willing to help with prescription refills needing a special letter. Basically, I'm now looking for another physician with a more professional manner

Dr. Gittlen is brilliant and creative, intellectually alive. He thinks outside the box. His approach is comprehensive and unhurried. He typicallyruns behind schedule because of his attention to detail. I am lucky to have found him.

Dr. Gittlen is an excellent doctor. My family has been associated with his practice for over a decade. When my father was diagnosed with cancer and dying, Dr. Gittlen went out of his way (once when he was off duty) to make my father and my family more comfortable. He has been my physician for the past three years and has helped me to manage asthma. He is thorough and thoughtful. He takes time to make sure he is giving the most accurate diagnosis possible. I have recommended him to several friends who have appreciated his help.

Excellent doctor! I feel very comfortable and am extremely happy with his practice.

Dr. Gittlen is very thorough and detail-oriented. He is well worth the office wait time.

The staff is very friendly and makes the patient feel comfortable. Dr. Gittlen is cold and tends to think the patient is below him. Bad bedside manner. He made my Mother feel like she is third class and she was not allowed to express her feelings or concerns with out being told she needs to be quiet and less talking. Very rude Doctor. He has a God complex.
