Dr. Stephanie Renee Stephens, MD

I wouldn't let her near my dog!!!! replace my knee didn't offer any therapy while hosptalized released me never saw her but once, didn't show up for the release.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Stephens. She quite literally botched my ACL reconstruction surgery and has now caused me to have 2 more surgeries due to her negligence (with a different surgeon of course). She ruptured through my IT band and quadricep, which caused the bone plugs to rip out of the bone and go through the muscle. This resulted in my ACL tearing in 3 places. This would have been caught immediately after surgery if she would have done an XRAY, but she did not do that. At every post op appointment, she assured me that I was on the right path to continuing my dance career, but I kept saying that something was wrong. 3 months later I got a 2nd opinion and the truth had been discovered. GO TO ANY SURGEON BUT HER!!!!!!!!

Dr. Stephens operated on me for a torn meniscus and torn ACL. Her staff is friendly (important for me), she is easy to talk to, and she did a great job on my surgery. My recovery time has been much faster than expected, so she must have done a good job on my knee. She even went out of her way after the surgery to provide me with pictures of the inside of my knee because I'd mentioned that my son was interested in seeing them. Overall great experience, and if I have another severe injury (but hopefully not), I'll definitely go back to her.

Had a non essential surgery. Dr. said we should take a look even though the MRI showed the minor tear of the miniscus in the knee was healed. I trusted her that perhaps something else was going on that produced residual minor swelling though another Dr later told me it was normal to take time for all the swelling to go away. Dr. Stephens told me after the surgery that I had a beautiful knee, not the knee of a woman my age, had no arthritis, and would never need knee replacement surgery. Post op - so much pain and swelling. Dr. said this only happened in 20% of people. She gave me arthritis. My life has never been the same. I was very active and enjoyed travelling and working out. Now I can't do hardly anything and its been two years. It was a complete life changer and ruined my life.

The front desk ladies were a bit unwelcoming but the Hispanic nurse/assistant was really helpful with the process and Dr. Stephens was amazing with the info. and treatment she gave me. I haven't been to a doctor in 15+ years and so I had a lot of anxiety but the doctor really put me and my ankle to ease. Thank goodness I chose them of the recommendations I received.

The doctor was okay, the nurse was at least courteous enough... Front desk people were kind of rude. The main thing is when you are sitting up injured with no prescription and no calls back and it takes them forever to get back to you while you are missing work needing work releases, it can be VERY frustrating.Perhaps its because my diagnosis needed an MRI to "figure it out". They may be better if you had a bulging out swollen injury or something more obvious.

Dr. Stephens is an outstanding doctor. I am so glad I found her.

someone needs to inform Dr. Stephens that it is childish and unprofessional to "badmouth" fellow professionals and to make untrue comments about other doctors to patients. Sooner or later Dr. Stephens, the truth comes out.

I didn't like going to the doctor but Dr. Stephen's office is special. Her staff are wonderful very nice and respectful. I enjoyed very vistits and stay well informed of my condition and process. I hope that others that went to he had the same special service i had recevied.
