Dr. Stephen Todd Lingo, MD

He's simply the *Best* doctor I've ever had. I'm a bit perplexed how some people have given Dr. Lingo low scores, but hear it from me - Dr. Lingo is flat excellent. Every time we have had a problem he is caring and concerned. But even more important than that, he is highly competent and knowledgeable, even diagnosing a problem that had oppressed me for years. Please, give him a chance. I believe you will be very, very happy you did.

Dr. Lingo is amazing and so personable! He amazed me how caring he was about what was going on with me and my life. He also amazed me by saying he wanted me to be at a weight I'm comfortable with. Not like usual Dr's that say you need to be the weight for your height. I would refer everyone to him! Very knowledgeable. I'm hoping he lives longer than me so I can see him till I'm old and gray!

Tells me I’m diabetic starts meds told me I could eat what I wanted??? 6 months later tells me I’m probably not diabetic but continue the meds??? Found another Dr. because this one doesn’t care what he’s treating you for let alone what any other dr is treating you for.

I am confused how Dr. Lingo is allowed to practice. He does not demonstrate expertise in any area when asked questions about general health. I went to see him for a complete physical, initially. He commented on my physique, and about getting it "bikini body ready for the summer." I reported him, and completed a change request for a different Dr. Within CMC. I would never trust Dr. Lingo with any minor or serious medical conditions if you value your like. I've been seeing general physicians for 38 years, and he was the worst Doctor I've ever encountered.

To start, the front desk indicated that Dr. Lingo was on time but he didn't see me until 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. After waiting all that time, I was disappointed with Dr. Lingo and will not see him again. I saw Dr. Lingo because I had been experiencing back and stomach pains for weeks. After performing a physical exam to determine my areas of concern he concluded that he didn't know. He didn't any questions about my lifestyle or diet and made no recommendations other than to "stand up straight" and have my husband "do all the work". He did offer to write a prescription for my husband to give me a back rub. Dr. Lingo came across as incompetent, rushed and uncaring.

Dr. Lingo is among the top two best doctors I have used in both North Carolina and Southern California. He is excellent in his diagnosis skills, communication, and solutions. Now my entire family sees him and they all love him. He has seen us through extreme emergencies and minor check ups. I would not want to go to anyone else.

Dr. Lingo is absolutely the best doctor we have ever had. My husband is Diabetic and does not take his medicine or eat like he should. Dr. Lingo has worked with him, and been patient with him and even fussed at him - but in a way that just points out the danger he is putting himself in. He never gets disgusted and acts ugly - like sooo many doctors do. His nurse, Jennifer has gone above and beyond to get me Diabetic cookbooks, and to help us find affordable medicine. Everyone at this practice is always pleasant and polite. Dr. Fillnow is another doctor there that we have seen in an emergency, and he is very good too.

Dr. Lingo took over patient care for me and my husband when we first moved here and we both had quite a bit of medical problems at the time. I had just been released from a hospital on the West Coast from a brain bleed. I am also a nurse and I think Dr. Lingo is an "A" rated doctor, I'm very glad I found him

Dr. Lingo went out of his way to provide care to me on his day off when I was hospitalized. Although his office is at 16 & 51, he still came by CMC every day that I was there to check on me. The office staff is very friendly and listen to you. It's unfortunate that he is tied to CMC, though. That hospital was very dirty when I was there and the nursing staff was awful (was left alone for hours vomitting blood before anyone came).
