Dr. Stephen J Petteruti, DO

Genuinely one of the best doctors I've been to. He came into our appointment fully prepared, already knew my prostate cancer history, and didn't waste a minute getting up to speed. You could tell right away this was someone who takes his patients seriously. What sets him apart is the balance of brains and heart. Brilliant, clearly on top of the latest in his field, but also warm, attentive, and easy to talk to. Not every smart doctor is a good listener. He's both. So glad to be a patient in his practice. Can't recommend him enough.

After YEARS of struggling with complications from a traumatic brain injury and the subsequent transition to perimenopause, I feel like Dr. Petterutti has given me hope for a new lease on life! I’ve only been under his care for three months, but I’ve made more progress working with him than with anything else I have previously attempted. He is very thorough in his assessments, listens without judgment, and offers a wide variety of treatment options that are tailored to the individual’s needs. His staff are great, and I highly recommend his practice!

Dr. Petteruti manages to make every visit informative and surprisingly enjoyable. The bedside manner is beyond impressive, and I left every appointment feeling confident and cared for. A true gem in the medical field!

Staff is mediocre at best and return phone calls are very rushed.

Doctor Petteruti and his accompanying staff are entirely patient focused. I am pleasantly served and provided with care each time I visit Intellectual Medicine.

Dr Petteruti spends time listening to his patients (never feel rushed!), is knowledgeable about different ways to treat issues and produces results. Staff is friendly, office is clean and runs on time. Bonus points: great music is played during drips!!!

Very disappointed! I was a patient for EIGHT years and was dismissed because I complained about the staff and their poor scheduling and patient interactions. As a concierge patient, we are promised same day or next day appointments but when I called to schedule for slightly urgent matter I was given an appointment 30 days out. I used concierge texting privilege to the doctor regarding the long wait, but received no reply, that is, until I complained publicly. Thats when he called to tell me "I don't appreciate your comment on my Facebook page". Then I received a formal letter for dismissal. Too bad their answer to complaints is dismissal rather than improving their services. My comment was removed on FB and I was blocked from the doctor's medical page while still a concierge patient. At first I thought I shouldn't have complained because it caused all of this, but after speaking with a lawyer he informed me that my complaint was very valid and they weren't holding up to their… side of the concierge agreement. Also, that it may be considered patient abandonment because I was in the middle of treatment and didn't receive services I required at the time. Unfortunate I have to pursue legal action. My one star review is based on staff and poor handling of patient complaints.

Had a great experience with Dr. Petteruti. He practices medicine as it should be done in 2024, by taking a truly integrative approach and tailoring it to his patient. He also stays on the cutting edge of science and research. His staff are all very friendly too.

I have been visiting the drip bar since about May. The staff is SO sweet and kind. I started coming for ozone IV therapy to help kick my Topical Steroid Withdrawal to the curb. I’ve slowly added in the vitamin drips which are truly so wonderful. I am petrified of needles and the staff always helps me get through it also! lol! Best drip bar in RI hands down! Also, the office is beautiful!
