Dr. Steven Frank, DO

I had found a tick on my head over my ear area last year and he put me on doxycycline, but being on a r.a drug I got pretty sick and was taken off them within 6 days.i had a marble size lymph node on my neck as I didnt detect the creature for 10days after cleaning up a area in my yard.i dont think that was long enough time to be on the med.and my p.t told me I should get a full panel lymes test and dr.frank gave me and the p.t a anger attitude saying I dont have lymes!! I dont know what the big deal is to order the test,so me being scared of the fact of having the disease with also not having a spleen due to having cancer 30yrs ago,went home crying in my driveway.

With everything going on with Covid, you would think a Dr’s office would try to help out with concerns a patient is having. I have had my physical cancelled on me twice, again understandable. On the second cancellation I voiced a concern I was having and wanted to try a medication to help me out, something I had planned on discussing with Dr on the visit that was just canceled. The response I received back that since I haven’t been seen in over a year I need to wait until I can get an appointment. The only available appointment I am able to get is 7 months out. So apparently my concern has to wait until it becomes a major problem. I was told if I wanted to address my concern sooner that I should go see someone else. I took that advice and I am Leaving practice. Would have been nice if I was even offered a telemedicine visit, would have taken less time and I would have had a resolution to concern.

Doesn’t listen to you. Fails to refill meds on time. Doesn’t return phone calls. Doesn’t treat the whole person and fails to address concerns.

Excellent medical facility that is very thorough and puts you totally at ease.

My experience with Dr. Frank is that he is in a hurry, does not want patients to participate in their care and that he misdiagnosis people. My 88 year old aunt was told she had arthritis when it was a broken (in 2 places) pelvis! He also put her on muscle relaxants-which made her very confused and unstable. I've since found out that they are contra-indicated for the elderly.

Dr Frank talks down to his patients and does not listen to their concerns. He also takes personal phone calls during visits.

Dr Frank treats the whole family.I did't appreciate this when mr husband and I with our son were patients. But when he was kind enough to take on my 84 year old mother as well I came to see the value of treating the whold family.Thank you Dr Frank
