He saw me once and billed me arm and leg for short visit and didn't bother to tell he was leaving so wouldn't be able to follow up with me when I wanted. I wish I had read these reviews. The office and other doctors in the office are real nice go to them instead.

Forced out of Scripps due to routine surgeries gone wrong, now leaving town under state medical board investigation and trying to practice elsewhere. You decide.

Speaking of experience!!! I went for a routine procedure to map the heart and fix any potential erroneous electric discharge causing at tachycardia. Instead, I came out from the surgery messed up with a heart block. He did not even bother to tell me. He said the problem was fixed and you don't need any medications. I ended up in the ER that same day 2 hours after discharge. How could an "experienced" cardiologist make such a stupid irresponsible mistake. Every cardiologist I have seen after him clearly stated that it was an unnecessary procedure and definitely a big mistake to create a heart block. Now I live with a heart block simply because the NOT SO "experienced" cardiologist pretended he knows it all! I highly recommend you get a second or third opinion before letting him touch you. In fact I won't let him touch my cat!

I went to this office to get treatment for my afib.I was not satisfied.I was offered no options but drug therapy which I don't tolerate.I had to get treatment elsewhere with an EP who was highly experienced in cardiac ablations.Dont waste your time here!Unless you want a pacemaker.......

Dr. Higgins is well known for putting in pacemakers in people who don't need them. Get a second opinion. Hopefully, you don't see him in the ER.

First of all, Dr. Higgins is a caring physician, concerned about me and my wife's issues. His technical skills are well-known as he is the head of the EP program at Scripps. He has done a lot of famous research on defribillators and other ares in EP. I can't recommend him enough. Thank you Dr. Higgins.
