Dr. Steven Morrell Bailey, MD

Had a doctor's appointment yesterday with dr. Bailey to get a second opinion for surgery and he was very professional kind caring. I can say I am absolutely looking forward to my surgery date, feeling confident with him and his team. Looking forward to the my surgery because I feel confident he is the best. Thank you dr. Bailey for giving me hope and the future I have not had a doctor give me the time that you and your team did. Thanks again. See you soon.

No better neurological surgeon anywhere. Dr. Bailey is TOPS!!

I have met him and I can only say good things about him expect some of the paper work that was done by him wrong. He ask me and I did gave him a clear answer of I was thinking about it. After I was arguing about what was right to his staff then he want to put that I have a mental problem but on the other paper work I don't have a problem. I was only doing what is right and what I said but I have to copy's so when a doctor ask I can show the both copy's and they see what I was talking about. I only fight for what is right and if I am wrong I will apologize.

After repeated recommendations from MY personal physician about how great Dr. Bailey was I scheduled my appointment. Waiting time was excessive and after too many conversations with persons other than Dr. Bailey, my time with him was cut short. Scheduled for an MRI and showed up for same at his office on time. After sitting for well over an hour with my name on the sign in list, I watched every person in the office leave for lunch until I was the only person there . After yelling very loudly several times I finally got the attention of an office worker who informed me that MRI's were done upstairs in another office. That would have been nice to know when it was scheduled or while sitting alone in his waiting area for over an hour being ignored by the staff. Idiots!!! He called upstairs to see if I could still be squeezed in and I proceeded upstairs. After a 30 minute back MRI I continued with an MRI on my hips. Nobody had noticed the metal rimmed reading glasses hanging from the… front of my t-shirt. I noticed and mentioned it between MRI's and removed them at that time. The second MRI was to be 30 -35 minutes. After 8 minutes I was in excruciating pain and began calling for assistance. I yelled and hollered for almost 5 minutes ending with numerous profanities which finally got the attention of an assistant. When I finally got to see Dr. Bailey over an hour later he, somehow, had a complete MRI of my hips and quickly stated that I needed both hips replaced. I was in total shock as he offered NO options between doing nothing and having both hips replaced. I chose NOTHING and am glad I did. That was over a year ago and with rest and mild exercise I am doing fine while still seeking additional relief for sporadic pain but I can walk fine without assistance. I would not take any of my dogs to Dr. Bailey let alone recommend him to another human. What bothers me is that these morons still got paid for wasting my time. It turns out that MY personal physician had never even met Dr. Bailey or even spoken to him. He advised me NOT to have surgery without elaboration.

Dr. Bailey has an incredible "bedside" manner is consistently takes all the time that is needed to answer all of my questions, educate me with respect to options, and provide recommendations. He is thorough, extremely articulate, and very patient. I KNOW he cares about me and he always makes a point to engage my spouse who generally accompanies me to the appointment. If I could...I would give Dr. Bailey 10 stars in every category...he is absolutely an "angel from heaven" who has changed my life, my ability to live my life, and always deliver a sense of hope. He is the BEST doctor I have ever had in 59 years...PERIOD. Thank you Dr. Bailey!

Dr. Bailey is extremely thorough and demonstrates a level of understanding and compassion with the patient and concerned family that is above average. He makes sure there is understanding on the patient's part and does not leave until all questions are answered. Dr. Bailey takes as much time as needed and never rushes through his appointments. I would not hesitate to refer others to him.

He and Hope his PA are wonderful as well as the whole surgical team. I traveled from GA just to go to him. The surgery was very complicated. He did a great job. He is also a Godly man. This is not what he does, it is who he is.

Dr. Bailey & his staff & surgical team are top notch. I was so impressed by their caring attitudes and bedside manners. Dr. Bailey's PA Hope is absolutely awesome!

Dr, Bailey is a wonderful Surgeon, he takes his time, he explains everything so you can understand it. I highly recommened Dr. Bailey and his PA Mrs. Hope to everyone, they will help you as much as is possbile .
