Simply the best. Dr Wolf and Patty are amazing!!!! Caring, knowledgeable, compassionate! You name it. All the good stuff. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wolf and Patty McColdrick are amazing. He saved my daughter's life and then, together with Patty, treated my daughter with the highest quality of medical care as she recovered from a rare condition. They bring a rare combination of unparalleled expertise, supportive honesty and genuine kindness to the medical field. I can't even think about what it would have been like to go through what we went through without their expertise and thoughtful approach. I am forever thankful to them for saving my daughter.

We are eternally grateful to Dr. Wolf and Patty for everything they have done for our son. I can not even imagine where we would be right now if we had not found them 15 years ago and gotten my son's seizures under control when NOTHING else had worked! They are very experienced and knowledgable and also willing to try new approaches. They are a great team and truly care about the child and the whole family.

Usually I have never had an issue with Dr. Wolf or PATTY MCGOLDRICK, but recently that has changed. My son goes to their NYC office and has been going for about 9 or 10 year now. Recently I had an issue with a prescription my son takes. Before his prescription was running out I called the office to let them know I needed them to transfer his prescription to a new pharmacy that took my insurance. The next day I checked and it wasn't transferred. I called them back and it took another day just to get a transfer. I basically had to call them at the westchester location to get them to respond by sending another message through that staff. While the prescription was transferred I found out it was on back order, so I checked his original pharmacy and they also said it was on back order all over. Unfortunately they let me know late in the day. I asked the pharmacist what I could do and he suggested I have the doctor change the prescription to something else comparable. I called Wolf and… Patty's office and a nice gentleman took my message and said he would mark it urgent since it was after 4pm because I let him know my son has been without medicine for a few days now due to them taking their time to transfer the prescription initially. I called back the next day to check on the status of my message and a nice young lady who answered the phone was very understanding and took another message to give to them. She said protocol was 24 to 48 hours response time but I let her know that he hadn't had his medicine in a few days and I was nervous he would have a episode. I asked that she please see if they could just send in the prescription or just call me. She agreed and said she would reach out to their assistant. I called back around 2pm and she said the assistant was out to lunch. I called back in an hour and 30 minutes and she said she would have the assistant call me back. The assistant called me back at 4:44pm and said Patty asked if the pharmacist suggested any alternate pharmacies that might have the prescription, I told her the pharmacist told me that it was on backorder and suggested I reach out to the doctor for a new prescription because there was no anticipated restock date (this wasn't the pharmacist or doctors fault). The assistant said they may need to change the prescription, which is what I had already said. She said she would have Patty send a new prescription. I asked how would I know if the prescription was sent, she told me to call the pharmacy within 20 minutes cause it was 4:44pm and the office closed at 5pm. I gave them more time to call in the prescription and called pharmacy at 5:30pm. Guess what? The pharmacist said their was no prescription called in. So I called the doctors office and the after hours service answered. The lady on the other end Evette said how may I help you I briefly explained the situation and she told me to hold on. In the process of doing that I could tell she was conversing with a colleague cause she was laughing. She comes back on the line less then 2 minutes later and says how may I help you. I said I was placed on hold. She said okay so how may I help you. Because I knew she was the same person I had spoke to less then 2 minutes ago I said already explained the situation to you. She says again how may I help you. Now at this point I am annoyed because I have been explaining the same story all day and the day before, and just explained t to you less then 2 minutes ago. Why would I need to explain it again?!? So I explain it once again. She asks dryly "your name" I say my sons name because I'm assuming she needs to bring up the account like the ones before her and since I'm not the patient my name wouldn't bring up the account. So she says no your name in a condescending way. So I give her my name and at this point I'm beyond annoyed. She say spell it, so I spell my first name and say my last name. I told her she was being rude and I didn't appreciate her tone. We exchanged a few words and hung up. She calls me back and this is what takes the cake. She tells me that Patty said she was aware of the request because I was calling all day and she would get to it. I lost my cool at this point. Because for one thing whatever Patty said to you, it did not need to be relayed word for word. And as for Patty Yes I called all day!! You know why cause you literally took your time calling a prescription in that my son need and your delays contributed to him not having his medicine for 4 days. Had you acted with a sense of urgency he might not have had to wait 5 days to get meds that were detrimental to his health. I'm sorry if my calling 4 times during the day was annoying but I wanted to make sure my son would get his meds since even if you did call in a prescription it wasn't a guarantee that the pharmacy would have the meds in stock. It is always the chance they may need to place an order and that would be another day or two without his meds. The women on the other line was condescending and lacked empathy. Imagine being scared your son would have a seizure and trying to get his meds all the while the doctors are dragging their feet to simply send in a order and are also annoyed your call 4 times during the day to ensure your son has what he medically needs. At the end of it all the lady on the phone said Patty said she would call, it in the same night even though I told them the pharmacy would close at 8pm. I called the pharmacy at 7pm cause it closes at 8pm, to check and see if they sent the prescription. Guess what they didn't and as of tonight my son is still without his meds. Apparently Patty was so annoyed by my persistent calling that she decided not to call in his meds. If they can't understand a mother wanting to make sure her son doesn't have a seizure but obtaining his meds I don't understand why they are in this business.

Dr. Steven Wolf and Patty McGoldrick are outstanding professionals and people. They treat the WHOLE patient and not just the medical condition. We have seen other Neurologists and there is no comparison. Epilepsy comes with much uncertainty but we are CERTAIN we are with the best individuals to help our daughter on her journey. We travel 2 1/2 hours to see these Drs and do so with the knowledge that we are in the right place. Carmen and the office staff are efficient , pleasant and accommodating . We highly recommend this accomplished medical team of Dr Stephen Wolf and Patty McGoldrick. Do yourself and your child a favor... seek out these knowledgeable , caring individuals.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Wolf & Patty for about eight years. I can honestly say they are BOTH so dedicated in treating individuals with developmental disabilities! They don't just treat the disorder...they treat the person and that has made a world of difference in my son's healthcare and overall well being. Dr. Wolf and McGoldrick are very attentive, offer fantastic medical advice, and are very friendly and warm listeners to their patients.

I have been bringing my daughter here for over 10 years. Dr Wolf and Patty McGoldrick have treated my daughter for her seizures and ADHD. They have helped not only with her medical diagnosis and appropriate medications but also with the paperwork needed so that I could obtain guardianship of my daughter as well as obtaining other services she qualifies for. This team is the best. They Respond to my emails and concerns on a timely manner. Dr. Wolf is the best neurologist... I am so glad I switched to this practice after only a few years with another practice.

Dr Wolf is the most knowledgeable neurologist I've ever come across. He's been caring for my son for a very long time. I would give him 5 stars for his care and treatment but I took off 1 star because he's inundated with patients making it a bit difficult to get an appointment. That does however speak to how committed he is to serving the epileptic population. He doesn't turn anyone away!

Dr. Wolf and Patty are the most accessible, knowledgeable, and caring medical professionals my family has ever worked with. I heartily recommend this wonderful team!
