Dr. Mathews has been a Godsend to us on our journey to help our daughter. He has that incredibly rare combination of intelligence and kindness. He is warm and caring, and breaks down every bit of "Greek" into very understandable "English". He has been patient and encouraging with our questions and always has a pleasant demeanor. While I don't think our daughter's issues will warrant too many more visits to a rheumatologist, we all WISH he could be her doctor. We are grateful that our paths have crossed because in a sea of cold-fish doctors, he has been a breath of fresh air. His office staff is as kind and helpful as he is, too.

Dr. Mathews is my new Rheumatologist and I could not be happier. This man is a thow-back to when Doctors cared more about YOU than your insurance card. This man sat down with me like I was only patient for the day and wanted to get to know me. He wanted to form a plan to best help me and my unique and individual condition. This in my opinion is rare these days. I have to say this man is very caring and his office staff was very friendly, welcoming and nice. I know I have made a great choice in this practice. I could not be happier with such a great caring team helping me!

He is over & beyond what he does, I would be hard pressed to find another like him! Or his office personnel!

Dr. Mathews is kind, however he does not really seem like he knows much about connective tissue diseases. He doesn't seem to actually listen to symptoms, he is all about the labs. If you start to flare, don't bother calling because the front desk staff will refer you back to your primary. ð??³
