If you’re a person of color, don’t go to this racist doctor. For people of color he deviates from his professional standards, which thereby caused me more pain.

Dr. Steven M. Reich is a racist! I went to this racist for back pain and he deviates from standards in his profession, thereby causing me additional injuries.

How do you thank a man who has changed your life forever? Nothing seems big enough or appropriate enough for Dr. Reich. This man is a wonderful human being who will take on patients that he’s confident he can help. He’s not going to do surgery just to do surgery! When I first met Dr. Reich almost 10 years ago, he was my last hope. I already had one failed back surgery and things were just getting worse. Were office waiting times a little long at times.....yes! But you know what, that is what you get when you see an exceptional doctor!! A doctor who is taking his time with each and every patient discussing options and plans. I will gladly wait for a doctor like that. Dr Reich was caring but most of all honest with me! He told me that if I didn’t get a 3-level fusion I will soon be unable to walk. Imagine hearing that as a 29 year old. Now almost 10 years later my life is forever changed and I owe that all to Dr Reich!! I have no more back pain and can participate in any… activity that I desire. I am forever grateful to all that he has given me. I am looking forward to seeing him again on my 10 year doctor visit.

Being greeted with a paid magazine of this doctor and being told to peruse his accomplishments should have tipped me off that mr. Reich would be one of the worst shams of a doctor I'm ever visited. My wife is a a surgeons child and we have never had the disrespect of being dismissed as we were by Mr. Reich. He didn't have an answer for my wifes pain so he literally dismissed her case stating he couldn't help her therefore he wouldn't take her on. Clearly only cares about his ratings, its awful and the most fake unprofessional manner I've ever encountered.

I dont understand the positive commentary- starting with waiting over an hour, the visit began with him having to point out what magazines hes in and spiraled into Dr. Reich quickly stating he doesn't know how to diagnose me but he knows somethings wrong. Sent me for a diagnostic exam that turns out to be completely for insurance purposes, NOT to help diagnose me, and the next visit stated that he can't help me and literally refused to answer questions. Completely callous and cocky, he certainly doesn't care about patients anymore, maybe moreso if they're new and he doesn't know for sure he can help. Maybe all he cares about is ratings because that's the first thing he does, is show you magazines hes in. One of the worst doctor experiences I've had, and I'm a doctors daughter and do not say that lightly.

My journey started out with a terrible fall, as all things that result in surgery do. I was hurt, scared and had no idea what to do. I met with Dr. Steven Reich who from the moment i met with him made me feel more safe and hopeful about what was to come next. He diagnosed me instantly and performed simple tests that two other doctors never even mentioned. He came up with a game plan and displayed confidence and care in his explanation and delivery. He was compassionate about his work but even more so about my well being. I was completely freaked out that at 38 i was having surgery on my cervical spine and by going through my neck. Some many things could happen... i could be paralyzed or bleed out or worse. I am a mother of two girls 4 and 17 and could not imagine what like would be like after my surgery. Dr. Reich not only gave me the confidence and willingness to trust in him and his amazing team (you know who you are) but made me feel like my health was more important than anything… else. He takes time with you and explains things to you. He is approachable, friendly, and just an amazing human being. He performed my surgery that I left the hospital the same day. (The neck brace 24/7 for 8 weeks was not fun but part of my feeling process.) Dr. Reich is a picasso in his art, he embodies the true definition of doctor and surgeon and even more so, friend. I will forever be grateful to the one and only Dr. Steven Reich! One in a million...

32 year male who had a spinal fusion surgery by Doctor Reich. My experience was exceptional from start to finish from the receptionists welcome to the knowledge and commitment I felt from Doctor Reich. You can really tell he takes his time with every patient and gives his undivided attention. He talks to you and not at you and makes sure you understand everything that he’s telling you. You don’t feel rushed out like many other doctors. You might have to wait a little longer than expected to be seen, but he makes up for it by making you feel like his number one priority. I trusted him with a major surgery and the results were fantastic. I’m now a year post op and am so thankful for what doctor Reich has done for me.

I have been suffering from horrific lower back pain for the past five years. I had no success with any prior treatments which included physical therapy, epidurals, facet injections, chiropractor, radiofrequency nerve ablation, acupuncture, and failed microdiscectomy surgery. I heard amazing reviews about Dr Reich, and suddenly I gained an ounce of hope. From the moment I met Dr Reich I could tell that he was different from any other doctor I saw. His compassion and ability to empathize with my condition was amazing. I am a practicing dentist, and it was getting very difficult to work and I was constantly in discomfort. I have a two year old son whom I couldn’t lift, all the physical responsibilities fell on my wife. Dr Reich said he felt horrible for what I’m going through, but was very confident that he could help. He ordered a discogram test to pinpoint where the pain was, it showed L4-5 was the offending disc and there was also some pain coming from L3-4. From this test, he was able… to target the exact levels that were causing my pain. I had my surgery, L4-5 fusion and L3-4 L4-5 decompression two months ago. Recovery was difficult but I followed his advice precisely, walking as much as I could, staying hydrated, eating healthy / lots of protein, and I also made it a point to lose weight. At my 6 week follow up he recommended an amazing physical therapist Adam Braun, and I followed his exercises religiously, and my back is now feeling better thanks to Dr. Reich! I truly believe his hands were blessed by god. Dr Reich gave me my life back, and I am forever thankful that he was introduced to him. Dr Reich cared more than any doctor I’ve ever met. He called me the day before surgery (on a Sunday!) to answer any questions I had, spoke with me after the surgery to tell me how it went, came by again that night at 10pm after he went home to check on me, and called me on the phone for the first three days after I got home to make sure I was ok!!! Dr Reich was always available and called to check on me, and his surgery was a success. I’m only 2 months post op and healing, but I’m feeling much better and getting better each day especially with physical therapy!! I go back to work part time this week, and hope to transition back to full time in the future. I also find myself able to interact with my son a lot more because I’m not in the pain I had prior to surgery. Thank you Dr Reich, meeting you was a blessing and words can not express my gratitude towards you. To anybody suffering the way I was, I encourage you to get a consultation with Dr Reich!!!!

It's been 18 years since Dr. Reich performed a miracle operation on my son. He was involved in a water accident on prom weekend and broke his neck(C4 and C5).With gods prayers and Dr. Reich my son had a complete recovery.Today he is married and has 2 beautiful children , which brings unbelievable joy to everyone.None of this would be possible if not for the expertise of Dr. Reich(Dr. Dood).
