Dr. Steven Frederick Starr, MD

Dr Starr was very easy to talk to and was very kind to my mother. He was very honest about her diagnosis and due to her age was understanding about not putting her through any unnecessary tests.

If you like to give money to a condescending, irrational and rude doctor this is the guy for you. If not take your business else where. He doesn't seem to care about patient safety nor does he care about smearing feces on your clothes. I would give him no stars if I could. He isn't even worthy of a half a star. It's sad because the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I feel bad for the poor women who work for him.

I have a history of kidney stones. I had kidney pain and needed an appointment. The only doctor immediately available was dr. starr. He was very rude. There was blood in my urine. Dr Starr gave me a prostate exam (first time ever..strange since ive seen urologists many times) and then wanted to perform a cytoscopy right then and there (which I declined). No cat scan/mri/ultrasound was ordered. I was then told by dr. starr my problem was not a kidney issue and have a nice day. He never asked where my pain was. He never even felt the area around my kidneys. It is very obvious he didn't want me in his office that day for whatever reason. I will NEVER be seen by this doctor again.
