The doctor and staff require significant improvement. The doctor's reactive and unprofessional behavior, along with her hesitance to document my symptoms during the appointment, was unusual and discomforting. Additionally, the staff's lack of action and tendency to be argumentative were concerning. Thankfully, I have found a new and exceptional doctor. Based on my personal experience, I would advise others to heed reviews before selecting a healthcare provider.

Inexperienced Staff: Scary to think what her staff would do with your specialist referral, your prescription refill, your billing, or your critical medical situation. Disorganized and Non-Communicative Staff. I'm a new patient- made an appt 3 wks ago, confirmed Dr. Michal was my Ins PCP, they were alright because the other Dr was in an accident (I hope she is alright). Then her staff called this week to cancel my appt w/Dr. Jessica(wrong Dr.) who was just in an accident. After correcting them that Dr Michal is my PCP, we agreed to reschedule to Fri. am. Unfortunately her web directions are incorrect which sent me to Downey. The receptionist there told me this has happened to about 10+other patients, she even had Dr.Michal's # to hand out (has asked for a correction for months now). I called Dr Michal's office for the correct directions and to announce that I would be a few mins late due to wrong directions. Her staff said I had no appt nor my name in their system, asked me the name… of who called me to confirm. I offered to come in to check, to pls give me directions. She put me on hold x10+ mins- I called back, a different person Lizette ans. said no problem, let me just put you on hold 1 min, promise. x5 mins later she also said I don't have an appt. What's my name, dob, I told her. Also asked with whom I spoke with about my appt (apparently its really critical to get names at this office-clue #3 that the staff doesn't work well together)Then asked for grp # ID #- I told her I don't have a card, I'm under my husband's ins. she put me on x8 min hold, then said no, cannot see you, no card, no svs & you are not in our computer system. I told her this is all so unfair, I confirmed all this before 3 wks ago, someone even called me this week to confirm my appt two days ago. I am in my car now, I had a pix of all my information from my spouse that I can show her, I just don't have a card yet. Then after I threatened that I would write a bad experience review online. She put me on hold for 2 mins then found me miraculously in their system but I still needed to show her my card today and will need to probably reschedule. I went home at this point. I called my HMO and they said yes, you are definitely Dr Michal's patient, cards are on the way but usually not needed. So I canceled Mr. Michal as my PCP and changed providers. I called the new provider's number, told them I am a new patient, they found my information right away, just need to wait for Dec PCP change, no card needed, most ins companies today don't issue HMO cards.
