She handled the anaesthesia for my child’s surgery. She explained everything to me! She was great with my daughter! So caring and warm and even made the scary process fun. Her friendliness & manner put me at ease during this stressful time.

Dr Darrah was wonderful as my anesthesiologist. She took time with me and made sure I knew what would happen. I am a nervous person and she calmed my nerves with kindness, knowledge and a little whit. I was used to getting a particular type of anesthesia and she explained how there was new research and that was not the best and why (it sounds like the last reviewer doesn’t like listening). And she was 100% right. I felt way better after the procedure than I had in the past. I will be requesting Dr Darrah going forward and would recommend the same.

She warned there was a narrow line between giving enough anesthesia to keep patient "asleep', and not enough to cause death. I’ve been attended to by many anesthesiologists. They've usually said relatively little, and were never rude. In my opinion, Dr. Darrah is worth avoiding in advance.
