She performed unnecessary surgery on my son. Was very rude when I asked questions like how big my son's incision would be. She responded "why does that matter and big enough for me to do my job". When I told her I felt uncomfortable and wanted a second opinion she rushed out of the room. She scared us with saying that we were risking him to have permanent damage even though he had no active signs of infection and actually improved physically to move his leg right before she came in the room. She didn't care about that and discounted all of his improvements. She had multiple residents by her side and I felt that she used by son as it turned out to be unecessary surgery and wished that I listened to my instincts. I am scarred by this experience for my son literally is with a much bigger incision that we could only guess it to be since she wouldn't even tell us the location of where and how big. We went to Children's Hospital because we heard of it as a world class hospital but we… received less than substandard care. I hope no parent or child has to go through what we did with her lacking professional demeanor or expertise.
