Dr Rettek is great and has helped me thru so many issues.

If I can put “0” stars, I would. What a bad experience with Dr. Rettek. I called her for an appointment asking for availability. She started out by asking what insurance I have, I told her, she takes it, great. Next, she ask me what day of the week and time do I prefer. I give her two weekdays. She tells me she has no availability. Ok. I will work with her. I asked her what about the other three days, she asks me about what time. I tell her, but knowing by now, it didn’t sound like it mattered. And of course she tells me, she has no availability. Why did she not tell me she was currently fully booked and will not be taking new referrals? Don’t ask me for my insurance plan and my prefer time when you don’t have ANY availability. Thank goodness I wasn’t a person who was severely depressed and really looking for help, or this “therapist” would’ve added to the problem. She thought she was being empathetic when she told me to look for someone else and if I really can not find anyone else… then come back to her and she will check her availability again. I don’t think I have encountered such an unprofessional interaction. This is an good example of blessing in disguise.
