Dr. Susan F. Slovin, MD, PhD

No bedside manner, rushed through appts and fluffed off serious questions. My father was her patient for 18 years. The last year he was doing mostly virtual appts because he lived in Pennsylvania. She was wrong when she disagreed with another doctor finding cancer in neck, then confirmed it was there a year later, started treatments that she raved about that kept failing, took him off the one medication and asked for blood work before starting a new one, but before that could happen she ordered my father a CT scan after weeks of him having sudden hip pain, called with the results that he needed a hip replacement to go to the hospital. While he was en route the office called to say he had to come in person next time for her to see him. She never spoke to him again. We fought with the office and just like that she dropped him, unmedicated and getting a major surgery. We found out then his numbers were over 200. This was November. We had to go through so much to get him set up with a new… doctor to be told it's over. He went into hospice in January and died in March. She never contacted him or tried to help after 18 years, just let him die.

Dr. Slovin is my ex doctor, who is imoissible to reach, disinterested and somewhat negligent. I find it very disappointing since all doctors that I dealt with from Sloan were not only very professional but responsive and attentive.

Dr. Slovin has been treating me for 15 years, and I have never found her to be less than excellent. She is absolutely on top of my situation and the current best practices. She is always willing to answer any question I ask (and I ask a lot of them) and to spend whatever time it takes with me, and with my family. In addition, her staff lives up to her standards: they are immediately responsive, accurate, and thorough.

I've been with Dr. Slovin now for 12+ years and am the fortunate recipient of her outstanding care and strategical approach to that care. Her approach is not one size fits all and she has a special feel for a patient's cancer rhythm and the needed response in terms of care. Dr. Slovin is approachable, caring and lacks the huge ego of so many other doctors. And she has experienced the impact of prostate cancer personally in her family, giving her a unique empathy for her patients.

Dr Slovin has kept me alive for more than 19 years now. She is a brilliant strategist.

She is condescending, rude, and lacks professionalism. Being a medical professional, I am embarrassed by this woman. She was more so concerned with ensuring it be known that "this isn't her first rodeo" Her priority is riding on her high horse. She did not answer the questions asked correctly to boot! Overall, it was a wasted visit. I feel bad for the patients who don't have a medical background or lack a support system.

Please do you yourself, family or friends a favor and stay away from this women. She is utterly toxic!!

Dr. Slovin is simply outstanding. She is extremely knowledgable as well as being honest and even nice. She has more than 100 publications to her credit. She is the best doctor I have ever had as my physician. Jack Sabo, M.D.

Can be a bit quirky at times but is truly an outstanding oncologist!
