Dr. Susanna David Lansangan, MD

So glad I have her as my DR. She took care of ALL my ailments in one single visit. I am 60 yrs old and, I just do not give out a great review. This dr. knows what she is doing. My wife also has her as, her dr.

After being a patient for many years, I grew tired of feeling like a was more of a inconvenience instead of a loyal patient. During one visit, I expressed how I felt like I was experiencing hot flashes and she looked at me and told me "well, it is hot outside" sigh after demanding certain tests it was confirmed that I was in menopause. I was felt like I was imagining my symptoms. This is quite a few other reasons is why I needed to seek out an alternative doctor who cared about my health.

Rude when commenting about the wait time. Said she has a large senior patient list. Don't like the wait, choose another physician

I've been going to Dr. Lansangan for years, and ever since she moved to Burbank, the service has been downhill. If you want to feel like you are just a number in an overbooked system, make an appointment here. The staff has been less courteous over the years, the wait time keeps increasing (and my appointments are usually in the morning, so there shouldn't be much wait), the appointment is rushed, and the doctor blames other patients for any delays. I kept hoping it would be a fluke, but after my last visit, I'm done. Time to find a new doctor.

She does a great job of asking about all my problems and making sure that I get the best and most up to date treatment

The doctor made me feel like a hypochondriac, because she would not push requests to see specialists. She also passed this opinion to special doctors who found indeed that something was really wrong. I confronted her about this She did not remembered sending me to these doctors. She did not apologize for trying to color the other doctors' opinions. At least those doctors resent the info to her and copies to me.

Dr. Lansangan's Lakeside staff are excellent. She, however, was GROSSLY DEFICIENT with keeping and managing her records for my medical file, with filing authorization requests, with monitoring those requests and the resulting Doctors' reports, with any reasonable follow through, and with actual diagnosis. Dr. Lansangan rarely made any diagnosises during my visits and ignored my repeated requests relating to her analysis of Specalist Reports. Dr. Lansangan either lost or mislaid or failed to document her required medical notes, because she consistently ignored or deflected my concerns with a "there, there, don't worry about it." I repeatedly asked her to check my medical history from my transferred files and she never followed through. When I finally changed to another Lakeside Doctor, he found - after much searching - that she had lost or failed to file results sent to her by specialists, had not properly maintained my Medical Record History, and whole test results were… missing!!! When I checked with other people who used Dr. Lansangan, they all agreed that getting authorizations and diagnosises out of her was difficult and if one pushed, their concerns were treated as unwarranted and unhealthy - "this said with a dismissive smile." The Lakeside Doctor that I replaced her for is absolutely her opposite and is excellent

Dr Lansangan is one of the best doctors I know. Her ability to diagnose and see beyond the status on lab results is uncanny. She remind you if you haven't been on schedule to get your testing or physicals done. She cares about her patients and shows it through her close monitoring, follow-ups, and resilience to ensure you get the best care possible. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary doctor.

We receive the best care from Dr. Lansangan. She is knowledgeable and cares for her patients. She explains in detail and doesn't hesitate to recommend additional tests if warranted. We highly recommend her.
