I've never been so shocked with how blatantly uninformed a doctor could be until I met this woman. I've been to this practice before, but have always seen one of the other doctors. I'd suggest that this doctor is only useful for telling you whether or not your test for strep was positive or not, since that's all she did for me. The entire rest of the appointment she kept complaining about her slow computer, which was too slow to even gather my charts in a timely manner so she could respond to my questions based on my previous test results. When I brought up some notable changes I've seen in my body recently (I've developed such bad foot pain that I can't walk more than a 1/2 mile at a time), she responded with "maybe that's just the way your body is." No medical or scientific explanation, no nothing. I mean, come on.. that's the type of talking you do to a 5 year old complaining their elbow hurts after they fall off their bike! Until I blatantly said, "well, clearly you don't know what… I'm dealing with so can you recommend someone who might," she offered not even an ounce of direction on who to see for help! Finally, she just told me to make an appointment with another one of the general MDs in her office... really?! A serious waste of time and money. This woman should not be holding a medical license if she has not a bit of medical knowledge to impart or even suggest. Also to note, my temp runs low but today it was lower than I'd ever seen it at 97.4. I came home and did some research on this, uncovering much info that matches pretty directly with my overall symptomology, which could, in part, be a result of a vitamin/mineral deficiency. A good doctor would have made note of this low temp and called it into question rather than just a "some people have lower temperatures" when the "normal" range's low end is 97.7! Furthermore, I had her look at my last test results and I had a notable borderline result that she basically brushed off because it's not "full blown"... Again, I came home and researched and guess what? That borderline result is an indicator of a coming downward spiral that I can start being mindful of from now. So let me reiterate- this woman has no write calling herself a doctor. Don't waste your time.
