Dr. Sylvia Ray Jones, MD

Dr. Jones was my primary physician at Kaiser for more than ten years. I was fortunate in having good health and did not need medical assistance, but after a sports related injury Dr, Jones failed to act as a health advocate and completely dropped the ball forcing me to advocating for myself to get diagnostics proving an injury requiring surgery. She never followed up to any appointments with sports medicine doctors, radiologists, MRIs, surgery, or PT (that I had to set up myself due to her neglect). I'm generally not one to write negative reviews, but I'd strongly recommend finding another treating physician.

Dr. Jones has been my doctor for at least 10 years. She is a kind, caring, thoughtful doctor. Of course, like all Kaiser doctors, she isn't given enough time for each appointment to give the kind of care I know she would like to. Despite this, she is incredibly responsive.

Excellent follow-up. Answers all questions, attentive, explains diagnoses. Dr. Jones is very proactive and takes my concerns regarding care seriously, and allows me to take control of my health. But, she isn't afraid to let me know of the risks and her concerns as well. I am very appreciative of her feedback and attentiveness.

This doctor is very inexperienced. My experience was terrible, I had to get a new doctor who completely contradicted her opinions and I was finally given the correct treatment--after more than a year of being seriously ill. Do not choose this doctor if you want competent treatment.

Dr. Jones refused to take my complaints of pain seriously. She concluded that I should be able to work, despite clear evidence otherwise. Her incorrect and baseless conclusion has prevented me from obtaining appropriate disability benefits.
