Should have never seen someone without a personal referral. She told me i I was having small motor coordination problems that were told that they were psychosomatic from Zoloft ended in the ER with serious health issues - should have been suggested to get medical attention. Poor medical intervention do not recommend this dr. Actually wanted me to push through . Lack of empathy and did not listen . Find Someone else

I walked away from a 30 minute call with Dr. Sial worse off than when I came - please do yourself a favor and find someone else. I came to see her after I was diagnosed by my therapist for an attention disorder. After 10 minutes of questions of family history (not asking me about my actual issues), she said she did not believe my diagnosis was correct and tried to tell me to take medication for a completely different diagnosis. She constantly interrupted me when I tried to speak about how I was feeling and did not listen to my actual concerns - when I respectfully voiced this, she told me "you are mentally unstable." It was extremely unprofessional and it is obvious she is just trying to see as many patients as possible to make money rather than taking care of her patients.

Dr Sial is heaven sent. She is a straight shooter! If you like to have your bread buttered by your dr you should probably look elsewhere. If you are serious about your health and wants a dr who truly cares about your well-being and actually listens to your concerns... she’s the one. She really knows her stuff and no one else has been able to help me like she has.

She was awful. She misdiagnosed me (shouldn’t be surprised considering the comments). She has HORRIBLE bedside manner, extremely rude, and doesn’t care about her patients. My appointment was less than 5 minutes. How could she properly diagnose someone in less than 5 minutes? Her secretary is extremely rude as well. Save yourself the bad experience and don’t see her.

I had a previous diagnosis but I changed my insurance and decided to give Dr. Sial a try despite the bad reviews. However, I should have listened. She talked over me constantly and didn't let me get a word in edgewise. She then diagnosed me with something else (mind you I've seen a doctor and already been diagnosed) within five minutes of seeing her. I get that I could have been misdiagnosed by my original doctor but how can she possibly diagnose me in 5 minutes without me even explaining my symptoms. Seemed to me she was just eager to push medication onto me that I didn't need since she gets paid by the drug company. Would recommend finding a another psychiatrist who listens and cares.

I have been going to her for 2 years and shes one of the better ones out there.She is super professional but knows her patients very well! I wasn't able to tolerate an antidepressant and we went over a few until i found the one that worked for me and she adjusted my dosage. I'm sure all the bad reviews are just people trying to get prescribed drugs and left disappointed when they didn't leave with a prescription.

She does not connect with me on a personal level and I feel like one of her "sardines", cramming us into five to ten minute blocks. She would not talk to my girlfriend and take her seriously about my mental issues. Her secretary also is the worst!

She's very professional and has been my doctor for a year! Surprised by the bad reviews!! Straight forward and easy

Dr sial is the best psychiatrist on long island her practice is free of controlled drugs ppl who come to get addictive drugs she educates them about epidemic of drug addiction which is engulfing the nation gives right treatment ppl give bad reviews only if they cannot get controlled drugs or have no insight into their mental illness
