Dr. Tara Narula Cangello, MD

Too busy with herself and her face on TV to care about her patients. She was obviously dis-interested and impersonal. The office was incredibly incapable of follow through as well. I would NOT recommend her if you want a doctor who cares about your well being!

I saw Dr Tara Narula Cangelo for years. She tried, for years, to talk me into having an angiogram, which I did not want. Given my medical history, I did not want that. I anticipated complications due to an accident I had many years before. I made that clear to her. I paid for a high resolution CT Angio, at a private facility, which showed that I did NOT have clogging in my coronary arteries. She said she did not believe that. When I stated again that I did NOT want an agiogram she screamed at me. She said, “You ruined your heart, you refused to take statins and now your heart is ruined and you will die if you do not get the angiogram.” I agreed to have the angiogram only because I was told I would be awake. I did not trust them. I had the angioram at Lenox Hill. I was NOT awake. I woke up with a stent in a coronary artery. I was told that there was NOT clogging in the artery but the surgeon thought i needed the stent. Since that angiogram, I had had major problems, like… internal bleeding and pleural effusions.My life now is miserable. Dr Tara Narula is selfish. She cares about her statistics more than the patients. I see her as a destructive doctor who does not listen to what the patient is saying. She does not take into account the patient’s history. Now, I go to St Francis Hospital, an excellent Hospital. I am making Uber rich.

I have been using Dr. Narula for three years. She is compassionate, explains everything and I have never felt rushed. In addition, her staff is great. I highly recommend Dr. Narula.

Dr. Cangello is in the pocket of the American Heart Association, which is in turn controlled by the canola oil industry and other dangerous oils. Her advice will harm your heart!
