Dr. Tatyana O. Ponti, MD

Dr. Ponti’s office hours fit well so I can schedule an evening appointment and I don’t need to schedule bloodwork at a separate lab (might depend on insurance). Her examinations are thorough and I don’t feel rushed. Have seen her for well-visits, blood work, poison ivy, vaccinations, thyroid, heart and colonoscopy referrals. Just so easy to get an appt and never wait longer than 10 minutes!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Ponti since 2010. She has the most thorough personal interview process I have ever experienced. She puts great store in previous medical history and regular physical and blood exams to assess status. She has been our primary care physician for the last 8 years and has never failed to be thorough and accurate in her assessments as well as follow through even when she has referred us to other specialists as necessary. During a routine physical exam 2 years ago she thought she felt a lump in my throat. She referred me to a specialist in thyroid diagnosis. The diagnostic physician confirmed a potential cancer of the thyroid. I was operated on successfully a month later at Sloan-Kettering, NYC. The tumor was so small he was amazed she detected it. It was detected so early that it was taken care of in one operation with no additional radiological or other medical procedures involved. I had no other symptoms prior to the physical exam, and credit Dr… Ponti’s attention to detail to the early discovery and complete irradication of the cancer before it became an active issue in my life. I highly recommend her as an internist and GP.

I think Dr. Ponti is amazing. Not only is she a great Physician she is also a compassionate person who truly cares about her patients.

Great doctor,caring,knowledgeable and smart. Takes time with you and makes sure all your concerns are addressed. Very nice staff.
