Dr. Nguyen shares that, though a number of years into her practice, she still finds surgery on the eye interesting as it requires her full attention to detail and precision. "On a weekly basis I witness how eye surgeries provide dramatic results, and, in a relatively short time, make vast differences in my patients' quality of life." Dr. Nguyen was drawn to Ophthalmology because of the opportunity to interact with patients of all ages. She is especially proud of her selection as a C. S. Lewis Scholar, which enabled her to spend time in India providing healthcare to those in need.
