I loved everything about this office. I’ve been searching for answers about my hip for over 3 years. Dr. Ellis pinpointed the issue in minutes. The office staff was kind and the entire office was super efficient. I’ve honestly felt gaslit over the last 3 years that the pain was in my head because other doctors couldn’t pinpoint what was going on. His in-depth expertise in the area allowed him to figure out what the issue was and he knew exactly what would need to be done for relief and how to go about it. Despite needing a full hip replacement at 39, I’m so glad to finally have answers and if it weren’t for Dr. Ellis I don’t know if I would have ever truly understood what was going on with me.

Dr Ellis is an elite physician. He handles pressure well and is able to slow down the conversation and make the right decisions. If you look at his billing charges you will see his discipline and his honesty in the medical profession. He sets the standard for ortho doctors in the Midwest - a standard very few doctors can match.

I have had many surgeries with Dr. Ellis for different things. I would not go to anyone else or get another opinion after seeing him. He has stuck by me and made sure things kept getting better. I wouldn’t want my orthopedic needs in anyone else’s hands but his and his team.

Dr Ellis and his team were very nice, explained everything in detail, and were very professional would recommend to everyone!

After seeing several Drs., Dr. Ellis is the one who correctly diagnosed my hip condition of hip dysplasia. I am 42 and will need a hip replacement soon. He was honest about the possible results of my surgery to possibly help put off an artificial hip. We felt confident in our conversation and decided, with his support, to fix my labral tear and anything else that may have been wrong with my joint. I'm almost 3 weeks post op and am doing great! We travel 3 1/2 hours to see Dr. Ellis and his team. Worth every mile!

My daughter had hip replacement 2 and a half months ago. She has yet to be off the cane and has swelling that has never gone down. Dr. Ellis nor another doctor on staff have not taken any action to solve her condition. I have learned her condition could be a blood clot, a life threatening condition. I'm very frightened.

Dr Ellis & staff were very pleasant & helpful. I was impressed with the whole visit. We saw 2 other ortho doctors before Dr Ellis and he was the most informative & easy to talk with.

I developed hip osteoarthritis young and was told by three ortho doctors that my only treatment would be a total hip replacement. That was very scary news at 35. At 37, with 7 kids under 13 and a breastfeeding baby, I had had enough and needed my life back. Dr. Ellis was always very reassuring and was the only person who gave me the confidence to go through with it. After Dr. Ellis performed my surgery, my recovery was even better than I had anticipated. I never used a walker, only crutches, and was walking completely unaided by 3 weeks postop. I have no limp anymore, can stand with my legs together, and can already do things I didn't even know I wasn't doing before - and I am only 7 weeks postop!!! I had to travel 2 hours to see Dr. Ellis, but I have no regrets. He gave me my life back (although he still won't let me run - I really miss that). I no longer have to "think" about walking to cover a limp. It has been great!! I only wish it would last my entire lifetime, but Dr.… Ellis said that may even change as these new hips are being made better and better all the time!!!

For as busy as Dr. Ellis is he spends a good bit of time with is patients, I have only been to him twice and having surgery in a few months and he was very caring and explained the surgery to us so we would understand what was going to be happening during surgery and after the surgery. He was also very reassuring that everything was going to be okay after the surgery was over.
