i read these all these reveiws b4 the IME idependent medical examiner was sent from auto insurance company after rear ended in car crash. all the negative reveiws had me very worried. most of the negative reveiws on here though, i don't know their particular details, butt i conclude amount to illegal defamation of name. just be honest/respectful, & don't exxagerrate your injuries. Dr. Thomas O'Brien a VERY GOOD, thorough, knowledgable, polite, respectable, Doctor! if you try to bulls*t him in attempt to defruad insurance companies to try and get a bigger pain and suffering settlememt he will call your bluff. if you are legitamately injured then he will also add this on the official medical report. Dr. Thomas O'Brien on the side of truth. Truth hurts sometimes, & all these smear campaign negative reveiws are quite insulting/aggregious. Have a good knight n day! S.A.P. (Seth)

Worked comp has sent me to see this supposed doctor 3 times. His exams last 3-7 minutes and yes he is rude and arrogant if you see this person he will tell you nothing is wrong with you. Do the research you will see he does this in 4-5 different states. I think its Wisconsin where they did a article on him.

I drove 2 hours to see him per my company. He was asking questions and went from one subject to another. When my wife was trying to be informative he told her not to talk and if "we" needed her then we would look at her and let her know we are lost. He NEVER even looked at the medical records my employer sent him. He was asking questions and when I couldn't answer fast enough he said "that's ok, I can get it from your records" just about every answer I gave he said he will just get it from my records. He specifically said from the beginning that he wanted to ask me questions first before he looks at my records. The visit took 10 mins, only thing he did was have me bend over as much as I could to touch my toes, put me on the table lifted my legs, turned them in and out and DONE. How can someone give a second opinion based on a 10 min visit. This guy is a quack, and insurance companies pay him big bucks to be on their side. Don't go to this doctor, have your employer give you several to… choose from, but don't go to this one.

This guy is a nut, a liar, and there is no way that he graduated high school let alone medical school. He spent five minutes with me when workers comp paid him to lie. His report was completely untrue and stated results of tests that he never performed. Fortunately, we videotaped the entire exam unbeknownst to him, and have contacted a nationally known television program to expose this quack.

I have seen this jerk and know he is fully for workers comp in and put in 3 minutes or less yet he is expert on your medical condition. He told them nothing is wrong but, I recorded my last visit where I told him I wanted to get back to where I was before the accident. Hos response on tape was ain't gonna happen on report nothing wrong.

Went in with lots of proof of injury from a work related injury. He said absolutely nothing wrong even after he said MRI showed two bulging disc. He said I would be fine with a little yoga lol.. He is awful in every way!!

Wrote an IME for Society Insurance in Wisconsin on my work comp claim. Made up information that is not true in order to deny my claim. Now I will have to request a hearing. What a corrupt man and company. What a jerk.

FIRST THINGS FIRST, TAKE A LAWYER WITH YOU, TO YOUR APPT WITH THIS MEDICAL CREAP, IT WILL BE WELL WORTH THE MONEY YOU INVEST IN YOUR LIFE. 2nd, literally record everything that is said by all parties, like I did, (check with your local law before doing this) 3rd, DON'T consent for him to touch your records, as your Workers Comp Insurance like to have you bring them with you, (fine, but dont let him touch them, or look at them), because the HIPPA law will be your best friend. They like to use verbage, to scare you. Get your lawyer to become familiar with IMEcentric & IMEBASE, and who is on them, and how to challange there practice. EXAMWORKS purchased a bunch of companies to DEFEND Insurance companies, making billions, and not paying claims!! Funny thing, most people here say, he is a paid RAT for Insurance companies. I saw him for for a work related injury, timed and recorded him, 6 minutes, and he didn't do a thing, but ask questions and wouldn't let me answer one question. I… really felt like this creap, and make him listen to what is wrong, and what is going on, but he is paid BIG MONEY to "PROTECT" Insurance companies. He said the injury "DIDN'T HAPPEN", in his report, he stated. Guess what Mr O'Brien, diagnosis of injuries, is like you stated, your opinion.Your BIO is a JOKE, and so is everything you stand for, BUT BIG MONEY!! I can't wait to get you personally in court, because you are going to be embarrssed as to what you think you know, and what you really know. BUT, like they say, opinions are like BUTTHOLES, EVERYONE HAS ONE. It seems he has a pattern, he gets paid around $2500, (inside Insurance company information) to fly around to the 5 states he hold "LICENSURE" in for his under 10 minute visit, then he says there is nothing wrong, and walks away. I HOPE THE INSURANCE COMPANIES that hires him, doesnt have a clause in there "AGREEMENT" with him, where he can not be summons to court, because if they do, they will burdon the lawsuit themselves. Its his OPINION, is how they state it. MAN I CAN'T WAIT!!

totally works for the insurance company, I have a recuring herniated disk that even a none doctor could see in a MRI he says i don't need a second surgery after my primary doctor has told me so. lied on his report about many things and left out things i said, told me three weeks later in a report from C.N.A. insurance i could return to work without restictions I would'nt take a sick dog to see this guy. Oh and his opening greeting was, You know why they call it back surgery? because you keep coming back. don't know how this quack can practice in this country and live with him self.
