Dr. Thomas Gerard Mattio, MD

Dr. Mattio has been treating my mother for about five or six years now. Over this time, it has been determined that she has Parkinson's disease, which first manifested in balance issues and so forth, but she never really had any tremors. She has, in the last year, really started developing associated dementia symptoms, but still is sharp enough to value being spoken to directly (rather than to a caregiver, daughter/son, or driver) and treated like an adult. Dr. Mattio takes time and effort to make sure my mother understands what he's talking about, and is thorough. His staff is responsive, also kind, and communicative with my mother's primary care physician, and with us, her family. We are grateful for their help.

Dr Mattio genuinely cares about the health and wellness of his people. I say people because he treats me like a human being, not just another patient. He is very intelligent, professional great doctor.

Treated me for a subarachnoid hemorrhage a number of years ago and has maintained excellent followup.

I thought the staff, his nurse's, were very incompetent. Took days to get a call back, and was not very helpful. Feel the staff needs some better customer service . Not a good experience.

Dr.Mattio has been treating me for a ruptured L5/S1 disc.I have had a few cortisone injections from him that were almost totally painless.He really spends a lot of time explaining your options and different treatments that are available to you.He has always been very passionate,caring and professional.I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have never meet a doctor that i have felt more comfortable with or have been able to totally trust what he has to say or recommends.Dr.Mattio has always explained everything to me in ways that i understand. You just dont find Doctors like Dr.mattio very often.You are treated with compassion and caring from the time that you walk into his clinic.Any problems that i have had between visits have always been taken care of by his nurse over the phone that day.Dr.Mattio is a awsome doctor and i am very thankful for the treatment that i have received by him.I would highly recommend him to anyone.
