Dr. Thomas Joseph Nicholson, MD

Dr. Nicholson performed surgery on me last year, and created more issues. I went to multiple follow-ups where he had his NP see me instead. He told me I would be fine in a week. I pleaded with him for help. I ended up needing lifesaving surgery from a different surgeon. Turns out I was almost septic. That surgeon was well aware of his "work".

Doctor gives short and quick answers, doesn't take time with patients. Doesn't explain procedures or options. He was unprofessional and rude and not just on one occasion. Staff are completely incompetent. Everything in the personal chart that was read back to us in post op was wrong had we had to be corrected - including but not limited to height, weight, and date of surgery (a surgery they performed btw!). Doctor couldn't even take time to see us for first visit post op. Won't ever go back here. The full story is much longer, if I could won't not even give him or his staff a 1 star rating, they don't deserve it! I recommend no one use him or his services!

Dr. Nicholson literally saved my life, & has provided top-notch care ever since. He is a very kind & compassionate man. I am very greatfull to be one of his patients.

Beware. Came here after reading decent reviews. Totally opposite experience. Doesn't listen to what is bothering you, lies to you about what he is going to do and then creates surgical problems that need to be correctly so you have to keep visiting him for follow ups so he can bill you repeatedly.

I initially thought this doctor was the best thing for me but over the course of 7 years things have changed to the worse. I believe his staff completely works a one instance against his cause as in one instance they closed the doors of a 3 x 3 office area and insisted that if I did not pay cash for that days visit I was to be released from the practice based on insurance was not in effect that day and only to end up billing insurance and getting paid, no apology was ever offered after drilling me in a used car sales fashion.

I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Nicholson and his staff. The doctor was easy to talk to and his pleasant smile and reassuring words made my most dreaded appointment a pleasant one. All of the staff were very personable and so caring. They couldn't do enough, like spending time easing my anxiety and answering questions. It was very much appreciated. They all seemed to really care about helping the patients and and giving support. Thanks for all you do. This is my third visit and I would highly recommend Dr. Nicholson.

Dr. Nicholson is the essence of a down -home country doctor. He puts me at east and is willing to do what is needed. I really like this group of doctors
