I had Dr Quirk remove a spot on my nose & arm, the one on my arm required stitches. It has healed nicely, & I will see him again for yearly checks. He and the staff were professional. He does speak at a low volume so I can understand if people can’t hear him well, but ask him to speak up, I’m sure he would

I was diagnosed with basal cell on the left side of my nose, and was not informed what course of treatment would be advised until I ended up in Quirke's office with a skin graft. I was scared and trusted his opinion as a professional. There was no discussion of alternative treatment and I wish I had pursued a second opinion. Skin graft is a very aggressive procedure considering the other options that might have been attempted first. I have a flat, pearly white patch on my left nostril that I regret badly. I hope anyone who faces skin cancer, especially on the face, pursues a second opinion before allowing someone to alter your face.

I found so many of the numerous complaints about Dr. Quirke very negative in many ways. He did many removals of pre -cancer on me including melanoma. He never left me with a scar. He also did some cosmetic surgery (not a face lift) with having excellent results... My friends asking where I had it done and by who. I highly recommended him. I never once had a bad experience with him. I don't always think it is the Dr's fault as much as the patient not caring for the afterwards as told. I am sorry of his leaving and I will miss him and his expertise too!

Never again, never again

I had a cyst on my face. I went to him bc he supposing ly was a plastic surgeon. My husband was not allowed to accompany me into room. He ripped at my face and said he should have performed this procedure in the hospital. I was very scared. He prescribed an antibiotic that I said I was allergic to. He said that he was the doctor and prescribed it anyway. One week later, after being sick from antibiotic, the cyst came back. Went back to him (even though I dreaded it) and he said "oops I guess I missed some of the cyst" and again he ripped into my face again. The scar is huge huge ugly and also left some skin sticking up and doesn't lay flat. I wanted to sue him for the ugly scar on my face. He us full of himself, nasty and a butcher at best. Stay away.

I had a spot taken off my face today. It was about the size of a dime but my it looks like I was in a fight with Edward Scissor Hands. I have 25 to 30 large stitches that are not at all what I expected from a plastic surgeon. There is a tuck at the bottom that looks like it may not heal flat. This guys bedside manner sucks. He had me lay down and just started cutting hunks of my hair out and never even explains what he was about to do. I asked him after he was done how much swelling I could expect and he said " I think you'll still be able to get your head through the door". I know no other way to say this but , Dr Quirke You sir are an a$$ and I hope I never have to see you again. I refuse to give him any stars because he don't deserve it.

The only cutting this doctor should be allowed is in the meat department at Piggly Wiggly, and kept away from customers. As sutures were being removed from prior surgery to nose and bleeding , he wanted to operate on my lip. I asked to delay this for a couple of weeks, and whether he would use MOHs procedure. He does not do this gold standard for Basel , and if I didn't allow him to operate he would charge me $250. He than went Donald Trump on me , trying to decide if he was going to FIRE me as a patient. I did set up a later appointment, but spoke with two friends who also had negative experiences and am going elsewhere.
