Dr. Thomas Spentzas, MD

Dr. Thomas Spentzas specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics, bringing expertise in caring for patients across age groups. He earned his medical degree from the University of Athens Faculty of Medical School of Health & Science and completed his pediatric residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Yeshiva University. Dr. Spentzas pursued additional fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine, also at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Yeshiva University, along with pediatric residency training at Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education. He holds board certification in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and communicates with patients in English.

Dr. Spentzas practices at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where he provides specialized care for young patients with complex medical needs. His clinical focus includes treating chronic bronchitis and chronic lung disease, as well as managing COPD in …appropriate patient populations. He performs therapeutic hypothermia procedures and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to diagnose and treat various conditions affecting his patients.
