Dr. Tymon is a Lancaster native who received his M.D. degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. After completing his residency at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Dr. Tymon went on to complete a spinal cord injury surgical fellowship at the Midwest Regional Spinal Cord Injury Unit in Chicago.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Tymon is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Lancaster City and County Medical Society.
Dr. Tymon has special interests in shoulder and knee surgery. He also actively participates in the training of medical residents at Lancaster General Hospital.
