Really awful, the office and the other doctors are great, bit avoid this guy.

the only response I have gotten so far regarding numerous complaints regarding an unnecessary scar left by Dr. Canon, who said he could do something minor. I made clear that it was a cosmetic issue but that so wanted it removed and checked out by a dermatologist. He left a big scar and found a way to bill my insurance. Furthermore, the office manager proved to be unprofessional and insensitive. I would give them a negative rating if I could. Good luck getting referral to a specialist. They won't do it. Greedy. Unprofessional. Unskilled.

I have seen Dr. Canon for like 4 years. All these years I have had trouble with diabetes and chronic pain and he is the only Dr. that has helped me control it and the pain. He did it with a medication that has nothing to do with sciatic nerve pain, a miracle. Yes we have had disagreements cause I am stubborn, but he kept his guns and we came through with flying colors. I owe him a lot for taking away so much pain which restricted me from doing things I like to do, now it's everyday things. He is stern but I know it's because he wants me well. He seems to be the most caring doctor I have been to, and I have been to too many trying to get myself well. Three times I was close to death, and the last, he helped me and here I am. I think people miss read him because he is super neat and precise in everything he does. He goes over your last visit records with a fine tooth comb. He has a sense of humor, but it's dry humor that is why people don't get his comments. LOL All I want to say, is… if you don't want to get well, just keep on doing what you always do and you get the same results every time. Dr. Canon is not afraid to try different things. He will keep trying until he finds a way to make you well. He understands how people who are always in pain suffer so he tries to treat the whole person not just the symptom, and Kasandra his nurse is super also, very knowledgeable and very professional.

I couldn't have said it better than Paige in her review! I have been seeing Dr. Canon for a little over a year now, and I would recommend him to anybody. I live in Lockhart, but the benefits I have received through their consistent, repeated professionalism, thorough examinations, courtesy of all of the staff, overall organization/efficiency, and his (and his nurses') high level of knowledge and experience have, by far, outweighed the lengthy drive.

Dr. Canon is wonderful. I suspect that the negative reviews about him say more about those people writing online reviews than they do about Dr. Canon, because the reviews couldn't be farther from my experience. I continue to drive all the way across town to see Dr. Canon (and have for the last 3 years), because he is the only primary care doctor I have ever had who actually reviews my chart before we speak so each time I see him he is aware of all the issues and concerns I have had previously. He takes ample time to speak with me before he starts his physical exam (and unlike many doctors he actually does a physical exam), and then he discusses his findings and my options thoroughly. I feel lucky to have Dr. Canon looking out for me.

Extremely rude and rushed.

Todd Canon is the worst doctor I've ever been to. Totally rude to the patient (for no reason) and misdiagnosed my injury. He has a very snobby attitude as well.

I agree with Feb, 2009 comment.Terribly arrogant and condescending.He should get out of his text book world and loose his superior attitude and get real!.

Unrealistic about patient needs and abilities. Unbending in requirements - if you don't do exactly what he says, he dumps you.
