Dr. Tracy Marie Allen Campbell, MD

I was referred to her by another dermatologist at the same practice and told she would need to surgically remove one of my nails in order to perform a biopsy - she looked at my nail for 10 seconds and said there was no reason to do any surgery or biopsy. When we asked why, her response was "I've been doing this for 20 years and I can diagnose cancer the minute someone walks in the door and that's not cancer." She did not make any effort to inquire about my pain / the fact that I have a 10-year history with this nail issue / the recent changes in my nail. I provided surgical paperwork from when I had a biopsy 8 years ago and she said the doctor who performed it didn't know what he was talking about because he wasn't a dermatologist (he's a hand surgeon). I tried to ask some legitimate follow-up questions and she said "There's a chance I could be wrong about it but that's very rare." She did not take any time to listen or explain.

Dr. Campbell performed a surgical procedure to remove skin cancer in unsterile conditions, was angry when I refused to take my mask off in her presence, and got in my face yelling when I wouldn’t be seated in the main waiting area after experiencing three bouts of barely controlled bleeding. I was left in the exam room alone with blood streaming down the side of my head.

Dr. Campbell is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon who possesses a wonderful combination of special talents and medical skills with extraordinary kindness and care. She is beyond Awesome, an exceptionally GREAT Surgeon, and when you talk with her you instantly realize that she is truly a very nice and kind person. She's awesome. She listens, very thorough, works quickly & gets you out of the office. We talk about her kids & my grandkids. Staff always follows up to be sure I have no complications. 5 procedures & no complaints!!!!!

I would say if you need MOHs or melanoma removed-she's fantastic. She is so much more willing to discuss your options. I had an in situ melanoma on my back and she was worried that it may have been misdiagnosed and she sent the biopsy to two other universities to make sure. She called me personally and she is so busy that I was impressed she took the time to do that.

Dr. Campbell was very knowledgeable and provided an explanation of what was wrong with my skin. She took extra time to make me feel at ease. I would trust her to do surgery anytime I might need it. Very impressed.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Campbell, I was very nervous about a basal cell I had on my nose. She removed it and there is NO SCAR, it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Campbell and her staff were so caring and made me feel right at ease. I will go back to her in a heart beat

I had a brown spot on my back removed. It wasn't very big, about 4 mm. However, I now have a 3/4 inch scar. My boyfriend thinks it looks like I got stabbed. The doctor specializes in cosmetic dermatology and I have a 3/4 inch scar for a noncancerous growth. The consent form was given to me about 2 minutes before the cutting was to begin. I saw the tray with the "sterile" instruments. Nothing was wrapped and the scissors were closed. I do know that scissors are to be spread open to properly sterilize them. I hope I didn't catch anything. The doctor ran late and no one appointed me for any followup. I had my boyfriend remove the stitches. So not what medicine is supposed to be. If you freckle, run from this office or you will look like an old quilt.
