Dr. Trent W Davis, MD

I thought he was a decent doctor until he decided to ignore my request for a note to update my bathroom. He never messaged me back. I kept asking if I was going to get a note to help me prove I have MS to the MS Society. Not a message back to me. I asked if he was on vacation or sick. I got a message from his front desk that he received my messages. I guess he want going to be supportive in providing a note that I have MS and that s bathroom modification for safety purposes would be best. Dr Trent Davis let me down. I'm very disappointed. I won't be returning to his office. He doesn't seem to care about his patients and just waiting to retire.

I am new to the area and Dr. Davis' office will not accept me as a patient because I have been seen by a neurologist back home. As the only neurology office in Salina, that is absolutely ridiculous. I have an established neurological condition that requires regular care, but I cannot be seen because I have an established neurological condition? My condition causes me severe pain and I now have to drive an hour to see a doctor, which only increases my pain. My mother is a doctor and I have other family members in the medical field. They all agree that this policy is ridiculous.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davis for many years. He is great and will stop nd talk to.me any time we meet. His nurse Rhonda is another story. She does not read the Doctor's full report before giving wrong information to other doctors. First time I under went unnecessary surgery and the second time she told the doctor I had a stroke when I hadn't. Someday she will cause some ones death.

Our son has been a patient of Dr. Davis for the past twelve years. I think Dr. Davis is a good doctor who is very knowledgeable. However his nurse, Rhonda, is the reason we are in the process of changing doctors. She is rude and unprofessional. I actually have wondered if Dr. Davis has even received some of our messages. Maybe I am misplacing the blame but for us Rhonda is the primary reason we are leaving. It is not her place to determine if our calls or concerns are worth Dr. Davis's attention.

He literally opened up his office on a Saturday morning for me after receiving my referral. He spent over an hour with me to make sure I got the right treatment for my condition and that I felt comfortable with it and how to take it. He's great!

Dr. Davis and his staff are wonderful. They are so caring and put me at ease. They genuinely care about their patients. I am so thankful for them

Would be a better doctor if his nurse wasn't so horrible. She's rude and controlling. Avoid this office because your medical care is solely reliant on what Rhonda feels like that day. Terrible. Absolutely terrible.

Dr. Davis is a great guy, BUT I have been waiting for 3 months to get a report back from him. Not so dependable.

I cannot speak of the doctor himself, whom I've actually heard is quite good. But I can say that making an appointment at this office has been a nightmare. I suffer from seizures and was referred to Dr. Davis by my primary care doctor. I made an appointment 4 months ago for an appointment coming up later this month. I just yesterday received an appointment card in the mail informing me that the doctor will not be available on the date of my appointment and they had rescheduled it for another day without calling me to find out if I was even available. When I called today to ask that I be scheduled for an appointment the following week, Rhonda, the receptionist, had an absolutely terrible attitude. She is incredibly rude, unapologetic and lacking in compassion. When I questioned why she would not just call to arrange for another time rather than mail me a card assuming I would be available for the new appointment time (especially considering how long I have waited for this… appointment to address a rather serious medical issue,) she actually said: "Well if I did it that way, I'd have a lot of phone calls to make, so this is just easier, I can mail the cards out and then the patient can call and let me know if it doesn't work for them." I'm sorry, but it's called your JOB. How many people can a doctor see in one day? You had to call maybe 15 people to reschedule? Not doing so is pure laziness and absolutely awful customer service. She also hung up on me after saying she'd speak with the doctor. When I called back and spoke to another woman she said the next available appointment wasn't until 3 months from now. As someone who was first diagnosed 4 months ago, waiting to see a specialist to get to the bottom of my condition has been difficult. The utter lack of care and compassion exhibited by Rhonda tells me that she has no business working in the healthcare field and no business interacting with patients, who often feel vulnerable and uncertain as it is. Her callous attitude hurts this practice, and I would advise anyone to seek out a different doctor, not because he isn't good at what he does, (I honestly cannot speak to this,) but because actually getting in to see him is very challenging, especially considering the careless manner Rhonda sees fit to handle the patients of this practice.
