If I could give zero stars, I would. I was referred after struggling for many yrs with unexplained daytime sleepiness. After my first visit w/ Dr. Kumar I was referred for a sleep study to look for narcolepsy- my visit to go over my results left me in tears. I was shuffled back, Dr. Kumar came in, told me it wasn’t narcolepsy, but idiopathic hypersomnia. He said he would prescribe “something”. After asking if I would need to stop any current meds, he glanced at my chart and seemed surprised to see I was already on a stimulant. He hadn’t taken the time to even look before trying to write a script. I was told to go back to my psychiatrist to adjust my meds. Frustrated, I said: I got referred to you to help figure this out. I was completely dismissed with that and all other questions, given no guidance or explanation for my new diagnosis, no further options or help for my sleep disorder from a “sleep specialist”, then was told I owe $300. I’ve now spent days researching the diagnosis… thrown at me. Disgraceful patient respect and care.

He is rude and his bedside manner is very poor.

I was very satisfied with the care I was given by Dr. Kumar. Dr. Kumar diagnosed my illness very quickly and I began treatment the next day.

I started seeing him as a neurologist because I could get in quickly. He rolled out the red carpet, started me on medication, gave me drug samples so I could try it out first, and then set me up for botox for migraines. He did not do the botox injections correctly and my eyebrow drooped. I could see my eyebrow without a mirror because it was drooping so much. He was unable to medically manage me appropriately, so I went to Dr. Radhi. She has been wonderful! One other thing, some of his staff is not very good and unprofessional and the others are embarrassed of him. They change almost every time I went.

Dr. Kumar is professional and well trained. I’ve seen many neurologists throughout my life and he is hands down the best I’ve ever seen. He provided me with diagnosis and treatment of two separate medical issues and my life is whole lot better because of it. I suggest him to everyone who needs neurological medicine.

I have been seeing Dr Kumar for 7 years. I have experienced so bad times with the staff, but at my most recent 6 month follow up the new staff is great. Dr Kumar truly cares for his patients. Don’t let a bad review keep you from giving him a try.

Can only recommend this place if you want to be ignored and treated as a cash cow instead of a patient. Office is completely disrespectful, especially the manager. Doctor kumar is not personable or thorough.

Dr. Kumar is knowledgeable and very funny.

I found Dr. Kumar to be a professional with a sense of humor that made me comfortable even though the tests were mildly painful.
