Dr. Trevor Clark Austin, MD

Dr Austin has been competent, honest, and gives direct, factual answers to direct questions. I have developed far more confidence in his opinions than those I received from doctors at a prestigious in state medical school. With his case load and schedule he is always on a tight schedule, but I have been under his local care for locally advanced pancreatic cancer and he has our trust and confidence. My wife who sits in on all my medical appointments shares in this assessment.

Bedside manner borders on cruelty; generally dismissive. Answers questions reluctantly and with contempt. If you have the means and flexibility to find alternate care, you should.

I was treated pleasantly and professionally by all of the staff. Dr. Austin was very professional and informative. I felt confident with Dr. Austin as my oncologist.

Dr. Austin and his staff provide excellent care and service. I am fortunate to have Dr. Austin providing care and treatment.

Dr. Austin has been my oncologist since the beginning of my cancer diagnosis..He is compassionate, understanding and has never made me feel rushed in my appointments..

Waited and waited and waited at my appt time. Then after 1 1/2 hours was told there were more patients ahead of me. They had skipped over my appt to see other patients. I was told I could go speak to a complaint dept. A complaint dept is not going to help me with my cancer. When I saw him a year before he was very distant and acted as if it was a bother for him to explain things. Will never go back to that practice which is very poorly run.

Our visit was the worse mistake we made during the 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Dr. Austin is the most unsympathetic cancer doctor I have ever met, and unfortunately I have met many. He kept repeating "your going to die" at least 6 times. On top of that, "oh well if you throw a clot, that's not a bad way to go, since your going to die anyway." Don't put your loved one through what we had to endure that 1visit unless you want them to give up all hope.
