Dr. Trisha Ann Prossick, MD

I have a somewhat rare and difficult condition which Dr. Prossick is as good as any at treating and much better than most. I saw four doctors before her predecessor correctly diagnosed and correctly treated me, and drive 40 miles to see her because I don't have any faith that anyone in my not-so-little town could help. Unfortunately, because she's such a good doctor you can't always get an appointment on short notice. Luckily there are few emergencies in dermatology that need immediate treatment.

I was referred to Dr. Prossick a few years ago with a suspected cancer spot. She removed it, confirmed it was Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and got me on an annual checkup schedule. With her guidance and encouragement, I know I can stay on top of any pre-cancerous spots and keep them from going any further.

I have been a patient of Dr Prossick for a few years now and have seen many changes in her office staff. Her current staff is the best it has ever been. Nurses are quite competent and caring. Front desk staff is great, Dr Prossick is very up to date on treatments and care. I have found our patient- doctor relationship to very caring and professional.

Dr. Prossick was an exceptional physician. Her nurses were prompt in rooming me, went over my medical history with me to ensure accuracy. Dr. Prossick made sure I understood how to properly use my perscriptions, as well as give me valuable money-saving coupons. I have no idea what these other two so-called "reviews" are regarding to, but obviously these people have been misguided into believing that this physician is anything other than top-notch! Wonderful experience! Highly recommend her!

I went to this doctor for a full exam since I have a history of various skin cancers. The nurse wrote down all my concerns before the doctor came in. When the doctor finally arrived she again asked about my concerns. The nurse never once looked at her notes. I didn't get through them again when the doctor asked me to stand up to look at my back side. I was in an open back gown. I am over-weight but not obese. When she looked at my back-side she made a sound of disgust. I was so embarrassed and humiliated. I know I am not thin and their is some cellulite but I was so flustered I forgot several important spots for her to look at. The doctor was obviously in a big hurry. I would NEVER return to her again.

I went to see Dr. Prossick about a few moles I was concerned about. I have worked in a cancer center for 4 years and know the signs and symptoms of melanoma and the proper way to remove a mole. I asked Dr. Prossick for a full exam (head to toe) to ensure there were no other moles that I was unaware of. She did not hardly examine me, not on my neck under my hair, not in between my toes, not between my theighs, not on my abdomen (I was wearing a gown that she did not lift). I would not consider this an examine, much less a full examine. She wanted to remove two moles by freezing them. I used to do contract work through the National Cancer Institute (Federal Govt lead agency on cancer) and NCI states that under no circumstance, shall any mole be removed in any way other than excising it out (in order to fully remove the mole and healthy tissue surrounding it. After Dr. Prossick suggested freezing the moles, I questioned that and stated what NCI says, and she did not even know who the… National Cancer Institute is. I left her office and did not return to let her remove anything.
