Dr. Kimsey and his staff are absolutely amazing. He did my mastectomy and I am so thankful that Dr. Kimsey was suggested to me by another patient. He is so kind and concerned that his patients are comfortable and well taken care of. I so appreciate being able to have him as my doctor.

Please don't go to him he acts nice before you chose him. Then after care is the worst. He never cared anytime I told him I was in pain. Would say go to er if you are hurting that bad.. my follow up after surgery he told me he couldn't write me anything. I was cut open from chest to below belly button over 40 staples . When I was admitted to hospital they called and told them he didnt care and didnt need to see me. I have never been to a dr ever like this before. He told all my family I was gonna be in pain a long time but didnt do anything to help with pain. My gi dr said he was doing a poor job controlling my pain and referred me to a pain specialist after I already had suffered for months. I tell every dr I see the horrible care I received and will continue to tell everyone I know till he no longer is a dr. Please stay away from this dr. Do your research I dont know why he has such a good rating. Dont do it. I have bcbs my husband pays dearly for our insurance and I expect the best… of care

Dr. Kimsey . . . I am in awe of him. He is one of the great surgeons who really knows his business thoroughly. He is direct, clear, and precise. He considers the patient, but brings his knowledge and research to the table in order to make the best decisions. I am most fortunate to have him as my surgeon.

True professional that specializes in Thyroid surgery. He truly cares about his patients and their well being. A man of faith and character that possesses the skills to treat his patients with great care.

I was Diagnosed with a giant growth on my liver, and Dr. Kimsey was called in to removed it. He did a great job, kept me in the loop and was great in the follow up.

A nurse called after an x-ray to inform me they had results but she could not give them to me! That the doctor was out-of-town and would have to wait 5 more days. Shouldn't have even called to tell me they had the results; what purpose did that serve? At the next appt., dr. comes in the room and asks, "Has anyone talked with you yet?" Really? After waiting 5 more days for results, that's the first thing you ask me? And I had to wait an hour on that? The final straw? Their nurse "forgot" to call me and schedule a procedure!! Very, very unprofessional and an uncaring attitude.

Dr Kimsey performed my cancer surgery 38 months ago and my experience with him during this entire period has been outstanding. Dr Kimsey discussed my cancer with my wife and I and discussed it in terms we clearly understood. He took the time to walk us through the surgery procedure and why the Whipple procedure was required in my case. We checked him out in advance and he has exceeded our expectations. He took his time to talk with us during my hospital recovery, and has taken his time to explain and discuss our questions in every visit since. He has a fantastic relationship with the nursing staff and I have yet to run into a nurse that did not hold him in high respect both as a surgeon and as a person. There is nothing that I have found that I dislike about him. I just crossed 3 years cancer free and he is still handling my case. If you need an Oncology Surgeon Dr Kimsey has my recommendation.
