Horrific doctor! She should be disbarred and stripped of her practicing license. When I was pregnant, she told me my child will DIE, if I do not follow her rules concerning my Gestational diabetes. She is extremely condescending and disrespectful in every way. The only thing she is excellent at is increasing a pregnant woman’s stress and blood pressure. She should be fired!

Dr. Akoma is the best OB/GYN ever!!! I came to her in the middle of my pregnancy after having many complications. She provided excellent service and saved my baby's life. She is extremely thorough, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, caring and just overall a fantastic physician and person!!!!! She welcomed my husband and I to come to her office after hours for an appointment and talked with us for over an hour to explain the plan of care. We are forever indebted to Dr. Akoma!!! I’ve used Dr. Akoma for all my pregnancy and I’ve never met a doctor that not only knows they’re stuff but will take the time to ensure you receive the best service and will jump through hoops for you and your baby.

I can seriously say Dr. Akoma is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had! She is simply a wonderful person and that shows through her thorough, compassionate, honest, and expectional care. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty. Her bedside manner is superb and she manages to explain everything in ways that are easy to understand. I have no doubt that my baby and I are in the best hands. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Akoma is very attentive, thorough and communicative. In high risk situations she has a calming manner. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Akoma is a wonderful, compassionate doctor who always took the time to try to answer my difficult questions while going through a high risk pregnancy. She made herself available after hours and on weekends by phone, and visited me and my baby in the NICU. She is a rare gem and I would recommend her services to anyone going through a difficult pregnancy.

Dr. Akoma is amazing and she was one of the people who saved me when I had post pre-eclampsia I owe her big time !

I have been her patient for 3 years and just found this web site. if I have known sooner I wouldve posted a long time ago. She makes me feel so comfortable and answers all my concerns. She has a good heart, and is a very good doctor, no one can compare to her.

She is very friendly and will answer any question you might have. If there is anything wrong she will tell you and she always has your best interest at heart.
