She is board certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Since joining Intermountain Health in 2012, Dr. Gawlick has held multiple leadership roles, including Medical Director of the Colorectal Surgery Division and Medical …Director of Colorectal Surgery at Intermountain Medical Center. She is actively involved in advancing surgical quality and safety and has served as an NSQIP Champion, Surgical Site Infection Committee member, and a current member of the Intermountain Health Robotics Committee.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Gawlick has a strong background in clinical research, innovation, and education. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations focused on colorectal disease, surgical outcomes, and cancer research, and she is a named inventor on multiple medical technology patents. Earlier in her career, she also contributed to medical education as a lecturer and teaching assistant.
