Dr. Valerie A Wender

Ok if all is going well but if you require hospital care or have a serious issue she writes you off altogether. She has zero empathy doesn't return calls visit when in the hospital for extended periods of time and her medical records are poorly maintained. Not even a return phone call from the nurse. Steer clear.

Dr. Wender is a wonderful doctor; I have been going to her for about nine years. She has an excellent bedside manner, and she really listens to what you have to say and never "hurries" you - spends as much time with you as you feel the need. She asks lots of questions to insure she can diagnose and treat (or refer) whatever might be wrong with you. She's a very pleasant person with a good sense of humor. I highly recommend her.

She spent a great deal of time with me. I had a list of things to go over and she listened to all of them. Really felt like she took everything into consideration and did not rush me. Favorite doctor so far!

My family is astounded by the lack of care that our mother received by Dr. Wender. We will never know if mom's situation would be better but we trusted Dr. Wender and too many other doctors agree that there has been a tremendous lack of care. Dr. Wender finally admitted mom to the hospital and she spent 12 days there and has finally moved to a rehab center. A simple follow up call would have been a nice, if not professional act to do for her patient. But we have not heard from Dr. Wender. I would think long and hard before beginning a relationship with Dr. Wender. Mom is now under the care of several named Atlanta top doctors and we are hoping it's not too late.

I have been going to Dr. Wender for at least 10 years and have always found her to be professional and kind. She is also very thorough and has provided excellent medical advice. When a referral is needed, she has always been referred me to equally qualafied, knowledgable and compassionate doctors.

Dr. Wender is a very professional and caring doctor. She has been very through in her exams. I have used her for over 10 years and I am more impressed every year. I left her for a very brief period to try another doctor close by, but quickly returned to her excellent care. She personally calls to check on me as needed after my visits. She always refers me to a doctor that takes care of me too. I would highly recommend her as your doctor.

Dr. Wender is one of the most kind, compassionate Doctors that I have ever had the pleasure to see. She is quite thorough and accurate. I appreciate the care I have received through the years from her. Also, I like the fact that the specialists she refers me to are like her in the fact that they are women, caring, gentle, and knoledgeable. I am sad to say that I am leaving her care, as my company has changed insurance providers and she does not accept the new plan. I will surely miss being under the care of Dr. Wender.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wenders for almost 15 yrs. I really appreciate all the time she takes in listening & diagnosing. She personally calls me at home to check to see how I'm doing. After repeated issues with my gyn office,I've decided to move the part of my annual check up to her as well. I feel as if the office staff there is friendly & knowledgible. Last yr.when I hurt my back, my husband came with me to an appointment. He was so impressed with how thorough Dr. Wender was, he switched from his internist to her. I have recommended Dr. Wender to anyone looking for a Dr. & will continue to do so.

Dr. Wender is too busy to be bothered with basic health questions. She rushed me through my history, cut me off if I had a question. Did not allow me to ask about anything I had concerns with. I am looking for a new doctor. She was a waste of my time and money. I am not sure why she is a doctor. She is a poor listener and acts as though she could care less.
