Dr. Valinda Riggins Nwadike, MD

I had visited this doctor for a closer location to home to complete my yearly physical. Thought it would be more convenient. I would much rather drive the distance for a better understanding and patient person than this. She was not understanding any question I was asking. Not fully answering questions. Not letting me feel comfortable at all. Not wanting to explain anything except the procedures to be done, nothing about the situation. So much rushing, impatient, and in a hurry to just get the appointment over with. She wanted to do the procedures the same day with no time to prepare mentally as well as physically. Insulting as well as unprofessional.I got such bad vibes from this. Not comfortable at all. Worst experience I have ever had with a gyn in my whole entire life of having 4 kids. Never again will I ever have a visit with this doctor.

It was a nightmare to deal with them last year. Made an appointment drove all the way there for them to tell me it was canceled. Had to call them constantly to fill a prescription and they never returned my calls. The receptionist was extremely rude as well. Her assistant told she would call me back at lunch time, and when lunch time rolled around there was no call. So i called back and SHE HAD LEFT FOR THE DAY. This was after 3 days of going back and forth with them about this prescription. Now im trying to get my pap smear results and its been well over two weeks and no results yet. I only went back to them because i’m moving soon and didnt want to find another obgyn. I thought having a standard pap i would be fine but i guess not! They are extremely unorganized and dont take the time to talk to you and make you feel calm about certain things. They just care about getting people in & out the door. Dont even bother coming there. Not worth it at all.

It was my first time to make an appointment with an OB Gyne here in US after transferring in 2015. I was really hesitant to make a doctor's appointment due to bad experiences in the past however, something is bothering me so I have no choice but to go to a doctor. Then, I've discovered Dr. Valinda Riggins Nwadike through search website. I was really anxious during my appointment but Dr. Valinda is very kind and gentle. Her staff (the receptionist and her assistant) are excellent too. They are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommended Dr. Nwadike and her staff.

Went to dr Nwadike for GYN visit - while she was nice and all, she chit chatted with her assistant the whole time she was working on me, like I didn't even exist. her front desk staff were always putting me on hold for 10-20 min whenever I called (when I know they aren't that busy - they have 3 front desk people for one doctor - why am I always on hold?). Then, her nurse practitioner (Christine) who I saw once was TERRIBLE - horrible bedside manner - never made eye contact with me while she was talking to me - always looking at her papers - made "huffing" noises and seemed annoyed when I asked pretty innocent questions (for example: When will my test results be back). Then when she called me later to tell me my results, she was rude and seemed to want to get off the phone as quickly as possible. When I didn't understand my results and called back later, she pretty much yelled at me and told me she already talked to me about this. I've never had such unprofessional doctors/nurses.

Dr. Nwadike worked closely with my nurse midwife with my recent, difficult delivery of my son. Dr. Nwadike showed patience and a great understanding of my desire to have a vaginal delivery, and she made it happen. I am VERY appreciative and she spent a significant amount of time ensuring I experienced a safe delivery, without rushing to perform a cesarean section.
